Michael's POV

I sprinted to her side with horror written on my face. "Zoe!" I gasped.

She was crumpled up on the floor and letting out ear shattering screams. I kneeled down on the floor to look at her and was terrified to see blood streaming from her mouth.

"Oh god no..." I muttered as I pulled her off of the ground with trembling hands. She began to make gurgling noises, and I leaned her forward so that she wouldn't choke.

"M-Mi-... Mich-" She stammered, as her body shook violently.

"I'm here... I'm going to call an ambulance, okay?" I said, lifting her up onto the couch and making she was sitting upright. I hurried to the phone once more and dialed the security branch.

"Neverland Security Office. Brad Phillips speaking."

"Brad! We need an ambulance now! And get all of the medical staff over to the main house!"

"Yes sir. Is everything-"

"Do it now!" I shouted.

"Y-yes sir." He stuttered before hanging up the phone.

I scrambled back to Zoe and sat next to her, wrapping my arms around her. "Baby, can you hear me?"

Her head dipped down as if she was too weak to support it. I held it up for her and looked at her face.

"Zoe..." I called to her. "Can you hear me?"

Her shoulders slumped and her eyes began to close slowly.

"No!" I yelled. "Keep your eyes open, Zoe! Look at me! Don't close your eyes!"

She fought to keep her eyes open but I could tell she was losing the battle as her eyelids drooped again.

I snapped my fingers in her face repeatedly. "Baby please look at me! Look at me!"

Tears streamed involuntarily down her face as she gave up fighting and her eyes closed completely.

I felt sick to my stomach as I shook her gently. "Zoe..." I barely managed to say. "Open your eyes, baby. Please..." I begged as tears began to spill from my eyes. "Look at me, Zoe... Open your eyes... Oh god please..." I choked out between soft sobs.

Just then, a medical team burst into the room and rushed over to Zoe. The state she was in surprised them, and they immediately began trying to stabilize her until the ambulance arrived.

"We can't stabilize her. She's all over the place..." They said to each other in hushed voices. "She's not regaining consciousness." "Her heart rate is dropping." "Breathing is slowing down."

I tuned out the voices, ignored my own tears, and held onto Zoe's hand, trying to physically pass my strength to her. If I could, I would give my life right now to make her better. But since I can't, I'm going to collect every last ounce of faith I have remaining to pray that she will make it through this.

Zoe's POV

"You look so beautiful, mija..." My father whispered to me through teary eyes.

I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thank you Daddy." I said softly as I wiped a tear from his face. "I love you."

We heard footsteps and soon Rebbie peeked her head in the door. "It's time!" She said excitedly. She suddenly gasped as she looked me up and down. "Oh my goodness! You look gorgeous!"

"Thank you, Rebbie." I giggled.

My father looped his arm in mine and turned to me. "Ready?"
