Once the meal is over, I help Heidi clean up the table, while Gretel washes the dishes. Alex and Jakob are loading the suitcases into the car and filling the petrol tanks. 《It's time to go!》we hear shouting from outside, and immediately Heidi and I take our coats and go out into the courtyard, where Alex and Jakob are waiting for us with the cars, already running. 《Al, we're about to leave!》Jakob says, as soon as he sees us leaving the structure, Alex immediately turns towards us, and takes leave of the officers he was talking to before, and walks towards us.
Heidi puts her bag and coat on the passenger seat and goes to greet some officers. I put my backpack in the back seat. 《Hey, gnome!》 I hear and after a few seconds two arms lift me off the ground. 《Don't get into trouble in Germany, they don't forgive there!》 Alex warns me, still holding me tight, because if he lets go I'll fall to the ground... and it's better that that doesn't happen. 《Yes, I'll be good, I promise!》 《Don't promise things you can't keep!》 he says jokingly, then turns towards Heidi's direction. 《Heidi, come for a moment?》 and immediately approaches us, then Alex continues 《And you, try to keep an eye on her and don't work too hard, or you'll get exhausted!》 《I'll try...》 Heidi replies. Meanwhile, Jakob has also joined us. 《Jak》says Alex, placing a hand on his shoulder  《my friend, I entrust these two whiners to you... take them safe and sound to whine at home too!》Heidi immediately slaps him, which makes him burst out laughing. What a cage of madmen I've ended up in...
《Okay, then we're leaving, Al》《Okay, but go slowly, and call as soon as you arrive》《You too, but don't drive anxiously or you'll end up in the river》《Bastard!》and Alex immediately starts chasing him around the yard, it's a scene of pure hilarity! 《Heidi, what does the river have to do with it?》I ask Heidi, to reconstruct the event. 《Alex, the first year he had the car, was so anxious and nervous that he skidded and ended up in the river, next to the road》 she says bursting out laughing. 《Since that day he has always been attentive and tries never to get distracted》《I didn't think Alex could get so nervous, he's so calm!》《It seems like it, but he's not, trust me》《I trust you, don't worry》 and then we both burst out laughing.
Meanwhile, Jakob is still running to Alex, who seems to want to strangle him... 《Get in the car, fast!》Jakob yells at us, and we don't need to be told twice, I get in the back seat and Heidi in the front passenger seat. Jakob, rushes into the driver's seat, and immediately starts the car and drives off, not before sending a playful flying kiss to Alex, who in return sends him packing with her arm. Two children. The officers wave to us and both Heidi and I wave back, until we exit the gate of the German embassy. This time too, even though many months have passed since my last big move, but I still find myself always changing house, for the most varied problems...
