Last Day in Chicago Part 1

I woke up and jumped in the shower before getting ready then heading downstairs.
Kelly: morning kiddo
Jaylen: morning where's Jay?
Kelly: he's working
Jaylen: oh I'm going out
Kelly: Can you have something to eat first?
Jaylen: im not hungry. I'll have something at the Alibi
Lena came down the stairs
Lena: morning
Jaylen: morning. I'm going out I'll be back in a couple hours
Lena: where you going?
Jaylen: to see people I said I'd catch up with before I leave
Kelly: like?
Jaylen: Kev, V and Diego
Kelly: okay. Call me and I'll pick you up
Jaylen: okay
Lena: you taken your meds?
Jaylen: yeah
Lena: Jaylen?
Jaylen: no
Lena: go take them please
I went and got them and took them with them watching. I showed them that I swallowed them.
Kelly: make sure you eat something otherwise they won't work properly
Jaylen: yeah yeah
Kelly: im serious
Jaylen: I know and I will

I left and went to the Alibi but it was closed so I when to V's house. I knocked on the door and she answered
V: hey Jaylen
Jaylen: hi
Kev: you okay?
Jaylen: yeah im fine. It's just I told you I'll come by before I go back
She let me in
Kev: when you leaving?
Jaylen: Tomorrow morning I think
V: the girls have been asking for you
Jaylen: can I see them?
V: you know you don't have to ask
Kev: Girls there's someone who wants to see you
The girls ran down the stairs
Amy: JJ
Gemma: I missed you
Jaylen: I missed you too
Amy: mommy said you don't live in Chicago anymore
Jaylen: I live in a new place now
Gemma: but why?
Jaylen: I live with a new family
Amy: because your mommy and daddy joined grandpa and Scooby
Jaylen: yeah
Gemma: can we play princesses?

Veronica pov
V: Jaylen you don't have to
Jaylen: it's fine. After we'll play outside
Gemma: actually let's play outside. Jaylen can we play tag?
Jaylen didn't answer. I look over to him and he was having an absence
Gemma: mama is Jaylen ignoring me cause he doesn't wanna play?
V: go get daddy for me okay. Amy you go too
Jaylen shortly came around
Jaylen: im sorry
V: there's nothing to be sorry about
Kev came out with the girls.
Kev: is everything okay?
I just looked at him and gave him a look.
Jaylen: come on girls let's play
V: we're gonna get you some drinks and snacks okay
Me and Kev went in
Kev: what was all that about?
V: Jaylen was having an absence. We never spoken to the girls about it
Kev: we've never had to
V: I know but we should have taught them about it
Kev: V I'll keep an eye on them
Kev went outside and joined in. I was making sandwiches when Kev started shouting for me
Kev: V a little help out here! V! Veronica!
I could hear the girls crying. I went outside and Jaylen was on the floor convulsing.
V: Kev take the girls inside
They left and Jaylen was seizing for a couple more minutes before it stopped. I rolled him onto his side. After about 5 minutes he came around and sat up. He looked around confused
V: you had a seizure okay. I know your brain is all fuzzy right now but that will go
We went inside to the living room where Kev was with the girls
Amy: JJ you okay?
Jaylen: im fine. I'm sorry if I scared you
They went over and gave him a hug.

Jaylen pov
I them sat them down
Jaylen: has mommy or daddy told you about JJs brain?
Gemma: no
Jaylen: okay so I have a thing with my brain where it doesn't work like your brain
Amy: your brains different?
Kev: everyone's brain's different but Jaylens brain is even more different
Jaylen: I have this thing called epilepsy and that means that my brain gets shocked and it makes me act weird. Like earlier Gemma when you asked me to play I wasn't ignoring you. I have these things called seizures which is because of the shocks. A little shock makes me just stare and that's what happened when you asked me to play.
Amy: is that why you was shaking on the floor?
Jaylen: yes that was like a big shock which makes me shake on the floor. That's the scary one.
Gemma: you okay?
Jaylen: im fine
Gemma: does it hurt?
Jaylen: no it just makes my arms and leg feel like jelly
Amy: do you feel better?
Jaylen: yes I do. How about we make some Oreo milkshakes?
Gemma: yayyyy
Jaylen: come on then
We went in the kitchen and we made Oreo milkshakes.
Amy: Can we watch a movie?
Jaylen: what do you wanna watch?
Amy: Frozen
Kev: I don't think Jaylen wants go watch frozen
Gemma: oh
Jaylen: no it's okay we can watch it
Amy: yayyy
Jaylen: come on then
We went into the living room and I put frozen on. By the end of the film Amy had fallen asleep with her head on my thigh and Gemma fell asleep on my shoulder. Kev took them upstairs for their nap
V: that's the quickest they've ever been put down for their nap. How you feeling?
Jaylen: my heads still abit fuzzy but im fine
V: you're good with them Jay
Jaylen: they're like my little sisters
V: Have you had anything to eat?
Jaylen: oh im so stupid
V: there's a sandwich in the kitchen
Jaylen: thanks
I went and ate the sandwich and went back into the living room. Kev was sat next to V
V: how is it in San Diego?
Jaylen: it's okay. I go to school on the beach
Kev: how's your foster family?
Jaylen: they're cool
V: promise me you'll keep in touch
Jaylen: I'll ring you every Sunday and you better answer. I'll FaceTime so I can see the girls as well.
We just sat around talking until the girls ran down the stairs.
Jaylen: girls I gotta get going
Amy: oh but you only just got here
Jaylen: I'll FaceTime you on Sunday and you can tell me how your week was at school
Amy: okay
They gave me a hug
Gemma: bye JJ
Amy: bye
Jaylen: bye girls
Both: I love you
Jaylen: ah I love you both too
I then said by to Kev and V
Kev: be good
V: be safe
Jaylen: bye

I left then went to Diego's. I knocked and Ava let me in
Ava: Diego's in his room
I went up and he was playing his Xbox
Jaylen: Can I join?
Diego gave me a controller and I joined.
Jaylen: I though I'd come and see you before I go
Diego: im lonely without you bro
Jaylen: Kians cool
Diego: I guess but he's not you
Jaylen: im sorry I had to move away
Diego: it's not your fault
We were playing NBA.
Diego: so when you leaving?
Jaylen: tomorrow morning
Diego: you wanna stay over?
Jaylen: your dad gonna be chill with it?
Diego: course he is
Jaylen: im gonna go and get some clothes. I'll be back
Diego: okay that's fine
I went back and Kelly was working on a car outside
Jaylen: the oil is leaking dumbass
Kelly grabbed the socket wrench and tightened the oil cap.
Jaylen: you better fill it back up
I started laughing and went inside
Lena: you okay Jaylen?
Jaylen: yeah erm can I stay at Diego's tonight?
Lena: who's Diego?
Jaylen: my best friend
Lena: sure
Kelly: we'll pick you up at 7:30
Jaylen: okay
Lena: Can you pack your bag before you go?
Jaylen: no
Kelly: Don't make this difficult. Just pack your bag. You didn't bring much stuff so it'll take like 5 minutes
Jaylen: I'm not doing it
I walked upstairs and went to my room. I was sorting out the room. Lena walked in
Lena: right pick out what you're wearing tonight and tomorrow
I picked out my pyjamas and a tracksuit.
Lena: let's put the rest in the big bag
We did that
Lena: what else did you bring?
Jaylen: erm I can't remember
Lena: is there anything you want to take that you didn't last time.
Jaylen: yeah
I looked around for my picture book but I couldn't find it. I ran downstairs
Kelly: woah Jaylen calm down
Jaylen: no no I can't find it. Where is it?
Kelly: what are you looking for?
Jaylen: it's not here
Kelly: what's not here?

I ran out the house and went to my old house. The front door was unlocked so I walked in and went to what was my room. I searched the whole room and I couldn't find it.
