Raven's P.O.V.
I was eating breakfast with my family when we heard someone knocking on the door, so my dad got up and checked to see who it was. Dad walks back in with great-grandpa Jeremiah, so I stood up and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back tighter and he kissed the top of my head. My dad, Carter says to Jeremiah, "What are you doing here?" I sat back down and then Jeremiah says, "I came here for two reasons." My brother, Miles says, "What are those reasons, grandpa?" Jeremiah shakes his head muttering something under his breathe and says, "One is to talk to Raven about her vision and two we have a major problem." My dad drops his fork on his plate and says to me, "Why didn't you tell me about this vision of yours."
I shrug my shoulders and Shane says to Jeremiah, "Whats the problem?" We all look at Jeremiah and he says, "My enemy, the Hudson's, have been spying on you." Everybody including me all dropped our mouths opened and my dad says, "Why are they spying on us?" Jeremiah shrugs his shoulders and says, "I have one of their men in my trunk and he says that they have been watching you guys for a while now." My dad stands up and yells at Jeremiah, "Why in the hell do you have somebody in your trunk!?" Jeremiah shrugs his shoulders and yells out, "You think I would allow my enemy to spy on my family!?" My dad growls and says, "I just think you could've handled this differently instead of shoving someone in your trunk!"
Jeremiah gets right in my dads face and he says, "I wouldn't have done it differently anyway." I stand up and push myself in between the both of them and I made them seperate. Jeremiah sits on a chair and he pulls me on his lap and he kisses my cheek then says to my dad, "What do you want me to do with the spy I have in my trunk?" My dad sits down too and he says, "We could interrogate him for a while if you want." Jeremiah smiles really big and he says, "Hell yeah." Then I get off of Jeremiah's lap and he goes to get the spy and brings him inside and my dad pulls me towards him and says, "Go to your room and stay there until I tell you otherwise." I nod my head and I run into my room shutting the door.
I stayed in my room for three hours and then I heard someone knocking on my door and it was my dad. He tells me that I can come out now and when I do the guy that they interrogated was gone and my dad says, "We let him go after he gave us the information we wanted." I nodded my head and I sat down on a chair and said, "What did you ask him?" Jeremiah comes back inside and says, "We asked him why he was spying on you and we found out who hired him and why." I nodded my head and Jeremiah says, "They were spying on you all because they were under orders to kidnap whoever comes out that door alone." I gasp and Jeremiah continues on with, "Don't worry, I have already called in a few favors and I got some men to come here and protect you all." My dad nods his head and Jeremiah says, "You remember the vision you had?"
I nod my head and Jeremiah says, "You remember the man who called for the battle to be called off?" I nod my head again and I say, "Dorian." Jeremiah nods his head and says, "That's who hired those guys." I nod my head and I say, "But why?" Jeremiah sighs and says, "They had specific orders to kidnap you." My dad grabs Jeremiah up from the chair, shoves him against the wall and my dad says, "Don't you scare my daughter, Jeremiah." I stand up and I place my hand on my dad's shoulder and I say, "Dad, let go."
My dad lets go and he pulls me into a tight hug and says, "I would never let them hurt you." I wrap my arms around my dad and we stay like that for a while when somebody knocks on the door so Jeremiah goes to see who it is. My dad and I let go and a bunch of guys walked in. My dad gets in front of me and then Jeremiah comes in and says to my dad, "Carter, these are the guys who are going to protect you and your family." My dad nods his head and then Jeremiah says, "Make sure Carter, that every time you or your kids go anywhere you take a couple of my men to go with you." My dad looks pissed but he holds back his anger in and says, "I don't need a bodyguard to follow me, its my kids I'm worried about." It was really late then so I told my dad that I was going to bed so I went in my room and went to bed."
