Raven’s P.O.V.
I woke up the next day alone in the bed and I saw a note with a rose on top of it. I sat up and pushed the rose off the note and it read, ‘Sorry, I wasn’t in bed with you when you woke up, my father wanted to see me; said it was urgent. I will be back soon, hope you like the rose.’ I sigh aloud crumbling up the note and tossing it on the floor and then I got out of bed and took a shower. Once when I was showered and dressed, I went downstairs to watch television. Bored with nothing to do since there wasn’t anything to watch I decided to clean mine and Jace’s room. Once our room was cleaned I became bored again so I decided to wash the blankets and sheets. While I was sitting on the bed, I heard somebody open the door and shut it closed so I got up and went downstairs to see Jace standing there.
I run towards him and hug him hard and he hugs me back twice as hard. Jace kisses my cheek and he whispers in my ear, “Did somebody miss me?” I nod my head and he says, “I missed you too.” Jace and I let go of each other and I say, “What did your dad want?” Jace pulls out an envelope and he says, “Since your dad paid for everything, my dad decided to give me money to go crazy.” I grinned at that and Jace says, “So do you want to head out then?” I hear the noise of the washer as it comes to a complete stop and I say, “Let me go upstairs and put everything in the dryer.”
I began to make my way upstairs but then I felt two arms go around my waist and I knew that it was Jace. I stop moving and Jace whispers, “Why don’t you just get your shoes on and I’ll take care of that.” I turn around slowly to meet my mate’s eyes and I say, “Alright, but I’ll need to get my shoes from in our room.” Jace mumbles something that I can’t make out and then he says, “I’ll get your shoes just go downstairs, please.” I kiss Jace on the lips and he kisses my back and I whisper, “Don’t take too long.” Jace grins and he whispers back, “I wouldn’t dream of it.” I head back downstairs and then I hear Jace in the laundry room and then in our bedroom and back downstairs.
Jace placed my shoes on the floor and he began to put my shoes on. When he was done placing my shoes on me we went outside to Jace’s car and we drove off. We went shopping for almost the entire day and Jace bought me a lot of clothing including the shirt he ripped. We went back home and got everything inside the house and up to our room. I pulled everything out and I decided to unchange in front of Jace since I didn’t have anything to hide. I heard Jace moan aloud so I turn around and Jace begins to make his way towards me and he pulls me towards him. Jace kisses my cheek and he whispers, “What are you doing to me?”
I shrug my shoulders acting innocently and Jace says, “You are beautiful.” I smile faintly and whisper, “You always say that.” Jace kisses me gently and he whispers, “And I mean every word of it.” I kiss Jace on the lips and say, “You always seem to say the right words.” Jace chuckles and says, “No I don’t, now finish trying on your outfits, my dad wanted to come over.” I glare at him and say, “Now you tell me.” Jace puts his hands up in surrender and he says, “Sorry, got carried away by my beautiful mate.” I smile big and say, “I forgive you.” Jace kisses me hard and says, “I’m glad.”
Jace’s P.O.V.
I loved it when Raven was able to forgive me so easily because it would keep us away from fighting with each other over something so small. When Raven finally got her clothes on after trying on her outfits, I whimpered a little, wanting to see more. Raven walks up to me and she kisses my cheek before she walks away to the door and then she turns around to face me and she says, “You coming or not?” I began to make my way towards her and I wrap my arm around her waist and we make our way downstairs. Right when we arrived on the last step, somebody began knocking on the door so I take my arm off her waist and make my way towards the door. I open it up and there stands my dad so I let him in and he says to my mate, “Hello Raven.” Raven waves at my dad and says, “Hello sir.”
My dad chuckles and he says to Raven, “You have very good manners, perhaps you can teach my son better manners too.” I growl at him and say, “I have enough manners old man, but I choose not to use them on you.” My dad runs up to me, vampire speed, and he shoves me to the ground and he yells out, “You really think you can say whatever the hell you want and get away with it?!” I flinched when my dad yelled at me and dad says, “You are very disrespectful to me, I do not like it at all.” I lowered my head feeling defeated and dad says, “You think I liked doing that in front of Raven?” I raised my head to see my mate standing there not knowing what to do and then somebody knocks on the door so dad begins to make his way to the door and then he says to me, “Stay there and don’t move.” Dad opens the door to reveal Ash so I yell out, “Great you can help me kick dad out!” Ash walks in and says to me, “Sorry bro, but dad is helping me find my mate.” I try to stand up but I can’t because Ash suddenly appears standing on my chest. Dad comes over and whispers something in Ash’s ear and then he gets off of me and begins to make his way towards my mate. I begin to panic thinking that Ash will hurt her but then dad says, “He won’t hurt her.” I sigh in relieve and just as dad is about to do something to me I yell out, “Please stop!” Dad halts and I cry out, “I’ll do whatever the hell you want, just please stop.” Dad holds out his hand and I place my hand in his as he helps me up and he says, “All I want is for you to treat me better.”
