Jace’s P.O.V.
We get off the swings and make our way towards the car. We get inside and I begin to drive off making my way towards my dad’s house. When we arrived I saw Dorian and James speaking to each other and when they saw Raven and I they stopped. Dorian smiles at me and he says, “Glad you both came; Raven, I’ll be needing to speak to you soon in private.” I look at Raven as she’s nodding her head and she says, “I’m not in trouble am I?” Dorian shakes his head and he says, “No I just need to talk to you.” My dad begins to walk towards the front door when he stops, half turns to face me and he says, “Come on let’s leave these two alone so they can talk.”
I nod my head; kiss Raven on the cheek before I too walk inside the house. I sat on the couch and then a few minutes later Ash comes over and sits beside me and he says, “Where is Raven at?” I point out at the door and say, “Out talking to Dorian.” Just as Ash is about to say something else I hear two car doors being slammed and the sound of a car being driven away. I stand up and I run outside to see that Dorian had taken off with my mate. I growl loudly knowing that this is the second time somebody has done this and it’s pissing me off. I ran inside and I ran into my dad and say, “Dorian has fucking ran off with my mate.” My dad walks towards the front door, possibly to see if I’m right and he says, “Damn your right.”
I roll my eyes and say, “You think I would lie to you?” My dad looks at me as he says, “No, I just wanted to see for myself.” I groan aloud hating that my mate has been taken for the second time without telling me first. Ash walks up to me and he says, “Want to go for a walk.” I was about to say no but then my dad says, “Go outside, blow off some steam.” I sigh and follow Ash out the door and we began to walk but my mind was on Raven and when she would be coming back.
Raven’s P.O.V.
As soon as Jace and James went inside, Dorian says, “Were leaving, get in the car please.” I sigh aloud and say, “Again?” Dorian gives me a glare that says, ‘Just please do it’, I give up and get in the car. Dorian gets in too and he drives off quickly probably so that Jace doesn’t try to pull me out. We arrived at a park but Dorian doesn’t get out of the car and Dorian says, “You okay with going for a walk?” I nod my head and say, “Yes but why wait until forty nine years to tell me something?”
Dorian doesn’t say anything for a while but then he says, “Because one it concerns Jeremiah and I and two I wanted to talk to you about how I knew you had that vision.” I was ready to listen now and then Dorian says, “You do realize that there’s only one more year before Jeremiah and I go to war again?” I nod my head slowly and Dorian continues with, “What are you going to do about it?” I stop walking and say, “Well what can I do?” Dorian stops walking, he turns around and he says, “I don’t want to fight Jeremiah so I’m hoping maybe you could get him to change his mind.” I nod my head and say, “I’ll talk to him on the day you both go to war.” Dorian nods his head and says, “Thank you.”
We began walking again and it was silent between us; I knew that Dorian has one more thing to talk about, my vision. We walked over to the benches and we sat down on one and he says, “First off, did you meet Jake yet?” I nod my head and Dorian continues with, “I told him your last name; he wanted to know what it was.” I thought maybe it could’ve been him but I wasn’t sure but then Dorian says, “About your vision…” Dorian pauses to look at me and he says, “I was the one who showed you; I wanted you to know what happened between Jeremiah and I.”
