Raven’s P.O.V.
I lay my head back onto Jace’s chest and then I say, “Goodnight Jace.” He rubs my back and says, “Goodnight Raven.” I feel sleep begin to overcome me so I allowed it too. I woke up the next day and I realized that I was still on top of Jace so I started to get off of him but then he grabs a hold of me. I start laughing and Jace says, “Where you going?” I stop laughing and say, “I was going to take a shower.” Jace smiles big and says, “Can I join you?”
I shake my head and Jace says, “Why not?” Then after he says that, somebody begins to knock on the door so I get up and answer it. I turn to Jace and say, “Its Aiden.” Jace gets up, walks over to me and says, “What do you need?” Aiden glares at Jace and says, “Dad says that he wants you to go with him.” Jace shakes his head and says, “I’m not leaving without my mate.” Aiden shakes his head and says, “Whatever, talk to dad about it.”
Jace shoves Aiden aside and he heads to his father’s study room. Aiden leaves then and then five minutes later, Jace returns and he says, “I tried talking my father into letting you come but he kept saying no.” I grab Jace’s hand and say, “I’ll be fine just go with your father.” Jace squeezes my hand and says, “Are you sure?” I nod my head and say, “I’m positive, I’ll be fine.” Jace nods his head, pulls me towards him and then he kisses my lips. I kissed him back and then his dad comes over and says, “Sorry for interrupting but Jace we have to go.”
Jace nods his head and then his dad leaves and Jace kisses me one more time and he says, “Please stay in my room until I get back.” I was about to say something but Jace kisses me again and says, “Please?” I sigh and say, “Fine, I’ll stay in your room.” Jace smiles and says, “Thank you.” After one last kiss from Jace he leaves to go with his dad and I’m all alone. I sit in front of the television and I turn it to Invader Zim. I heard a knock on the door so I get up and see who it is and its Ash. I smile at him and he says, “Thought you would like some company.”
Jace’s P.O.V.
My dad and I are in his car driving off somewhere and I say, “Where are we going that’s important enough that I had to leave my mate?” My dad glares at me and says, “I think Raven can go two hours without you.” I growl and say, “This is bullshit.” My dad growls louder and says, “Cool your temper right now or it’ll add another two hours.” I shake my head and I began to calm down and dad says, “Thank you.” We stopped at a park and we got out and dad says, “Let’s take a walk.” I sigh and say, “Well if I say no your going to double my time so I guess.”
Dad smiles and says, “Excellent, let’s go.” We begin our walk and I actually liked walking with my dad. It felt good to get out of the house and I realized that I need to take Raven here. Then my dad stops at a bench and we sit down and he says, “Aren’t you glad I got you out of the house?” I nod my head and say, “I’m glad you did but I wish Raven was here.” Dad nods his head and says, “I know you do but Raven needs some space from you every once and while.” I nod my head and say, “I know that, it’s just I love Raven too much to leave her alone for a while.”
My dad gasps and says, “Does Raven know that you love her?” I shake my head and say, “I whispered it to her but she didn’t hear me.” Dad nods his head and says, “You should tell her.” I nod my head and say, “I will.” We sit on the bench for another thirty minutes and then we get up and head to the car. I hug my dad before we get into the car and then he says, “What was that for?” I shrug my shoulders and say, “That was for bringing me out here.” Dad laughs and says, “Let’s get going so you can get back to Raven.” I smile at the thought of going back to her so I say, “Can’t wait.” We get back home and I run to my room and there lays a sleeping Raven. I walk over to the bed and I stroke her hair out of her face and then I whisper in her ear, “Raven, wake up.” She wakes up and says, “Your back.” I nod my head and say, “I need to tell you something.” Raven nods her head and then I say, “I love you Raven.”
