Raven’s P.O.V.
Dad left the room then and just when I was about to turn around, I felt somebody’s arms around me and I knew that it was Jace. I turn around slowly still in his arms and he says, “I should get going so you can leave with your dad.” I put on a sad face and Jace says, “I’ll see you tomorrow babe.” I sigh aloud knowing that he had to leave and there wasn’t anything I could do about it and I say, “I love you Jace.” He smiles at me and says, “I know, and I love you too.” Jace lets go of me and he whispers, “Walk me to the door?” I grin and say, “Yeah.”
I was about ready to head out the door when Jace says, “Don’t you think you should get your shoes on?” My eyes get large and then I look down at my feet and say, “Thanks for reminding me, I almost forgot.” I grabbed my shoes and my keys and then we begin to make our way downstairs. When we arrived in the living room Jace told me to sit on the couch so I did and he takes my shoes gently out of my hands. Jace begins putting my shoes on my feet and when he gets them on, he helps me up. My dad comes into the living room and he says, “About ready to go?” I nod my head and Jace whispers in my ear, “Come outside with me.”
We head outside and Jace whispers, “I love you Raven.” I say it back to him and then Jace pulls me towards him and he kisses me hard. I kiss him back and Jace says, “I’ll see you tomorrow.” I say it back to him and then Jace begins to make his way towards his car. When Jace arrives at his car, I head inside the house and dad says, “Ready to go?” I nod my head and then we walk outside and towards his car. We left to the furniture store with Shane and Miles following us from behind in two trucks. We arrived at the furniture store and with the magazine in hand, we went inside. In three hours we found everything on the list and we loaded up onto the two trucks. I was very excited about all of us finding everything and dad says to Shane and Miles, “Go and load up stuff in the living room, Raven and I are going to the mall.” Shane and Miles get into their trucks and we got into dad’s car and drove off towards the mall.
*One week later*
The house Jace and I wanted to move into was vacant so here I am in my room packing my things. Shane barges into my room and he grabs three boxes and heads towards the door and stops to say, “I hope you know what you’re getting yourself into.” With that said, Shane begins to make his way downstairs and I mutter to myself, ‘What was that all about?” I finally had everything packed, the only things that were left in my old room was my bed and dresser. I grabbed the last box and made my way downstairs. I sigh aloud knowing that this was going to make things harder for me, waking up in a new house. I handed the box over to Shane and then I got into my car and drove off heading to mine and Jace’s new house.
When we arrived at the house, I saw Jace’s car and I knew that he was already there. I got out of the car and just when I was about to unlock the front door, it opens up to reveal Jace. We both smile at each other at the same time and Jace says, “Glad you’re here; go sit down inside while I help your brother’s.” I glare at Jace and then I walk inside the house to find a spot to sit since the couch isn’t in the house yet. I sat down on the stairs and Jace comes in the house with Shane carrying in a couch. Jace and Shane place it on the ground and Shane says, “I wouldn’t sit on the stairs, were going to be bringing stuff up there.” I move onto the couch and say, “Better?”
Shane chuckles and then Jace and him head back outside to get more things. Five hours later everything is moved in and the last thing we need to do is unpack everything. I went upstairs and went into mine and Jace’s room to begin unpacking my things. I was in the middle of unpacking a box when I began to hear somebody coming up the stairs so I stop what I was doing and I face the door. The door opens and Jace walks in and he says, “Your brothers are going to leave so you should go say goodbye to them.” I stand up and head towards the door and then Jace pulls me towards him. He kisses me hard and then he lets go of me and then I head downstairs and I see my brothers sitting on the couch. They stand up when they see me and I hug them both and then they leave. I head upstairs then to finish unpacking.
