Raven’s P.O.V.
It was silent between Jeremiah and I on the way home and then I decided to crack the silence by saying, “Where is Gage at?” Jeremiah sighs in relieve, like he’s happy that the silence broke and he says, “Gage decided to head home before Jace’s family returned.” I nod my head and Jeremiah says, “At least you will be home safe with your family.” I nod my head again and then I turned up the radio cause I was hearing, ‘Never too late’ by Three days grace and I actually began having tears coming out of my eyes. I quickly wiped them away, hoping my great-grandpa didn’t see them. Unfortunately Jeremiah did see my tears because he grabs my hand and says, “It’s all right Raven.” I nod my head and I say, “I hope so.”
We arrive at home and my brothers come out to help bring my stuff in the house. My dad comes out, walks over to me and he pulls me towards him for a hug. We stand there for at least an hour and then my dad says, “I’m glad your home.” I nod my head and then dad and I head into the house. I didn’t want to be around anybody so I went into my room to be alone. I stayed in my room for the rest of the day not coming out. I woke up the next day wondering how in the hell I was able to sleep after what happened yesterday.
I heard somebody knocking on my door and the voice says, “Raven, it’s me Axel, open up.” I got out of the bed, walked over to my door and opened it and I say, “Hey Axel.” He smiles at me and says, “I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with me.” I was about to shake my head but then I saw a pained look on Axel’s face so I say, “I’ll come with you.” Axel’s face brightened up and he says, “Thank you Raven.” I nod my head and say, “I’m going to get dressed.” Axel nods his head, walks away to the living room and then I shut my door. I walk to my closet, trying to pick out an outfit when I come to two different choices and then I decide to go with a shirt that has, ‘Black Veil Brides’ on it. I then grab a pair of black skinny jeans and once when I’m done getting ready to go, I head out to find Axel sitting on the couch and he says, “Ready to go?”
I nod my head and Axel says, “Great, let’s go.” With Axel leading the way, we head to his car and we get in, driving off to the mall. Axel and I go our separate ways but before we completely loose each other, Axel says, “I’ll call you when I’m done doing my errands.” I nod my head and then we leave; I head into Hot Topic to look at some stuff. I see some t-shirts that I just had to have so I grabbed them and pay for them. I begin walking out of the store but then I bump into somebody and I begin to apologize to the person but then the guy says, “Hey Raven.” I look up to see a familiar face and I say, “Hey Aiden.”
Aiden smiles at me and says, “I haven’t seen you in a long time.” I nod my head in agreement and say, “It’s been too long.” Aiden pulls me in for a hug and he says, “Did you find a mate or something, because I can smell a male on you.” I nod my head slightly and say, “I did find my mate.” Aiden let’s go of me and says, “Did? What is he dead?” I shake my head and say, “No he ain’t dead; his father sent him away to get disciplined.” Aiden looks at me weird and says, “What happened?”
Before I begin I ask Aiden that he wait until after I finish the story that he asks questions and he nods his head. Before I speak, I try to decide where to begin first and after I do that I begin the story with, “It all started when…” After I finished Aiden shakes his head like he doesn’t like one bit of what I told him and he says, “So when does Jace get back?” I shrug my shoulders and say, “No idea, why?” Aiden has that look in his eyes like he wants to beat the shit out of Jace and he says, “You know what I want to do Raven.” I nod my head knowing what he wanted to do because he’s always been like a brother to me. I asked Aiden if he wanted to hang out with me sometime and he says, “I’ll call you when I have a free day.” I nod my head and I say, “Awesome, I’ll see you later.” Aiden smiles and then he pulls me into a hug for the last time and then he says, “Bye Raven, see you soon.” I nod my head and wave bye to him when he begins walking away. I get a call from Axel so I answer it and he says, “Meet me at the entrance we came from.”
