Ash’s P.O.V.
I was sitting in a chair and all of a sudden, I felt strange. Like I wasn’t really there, it felt more like I was floating out of my body and I did not like the feeling. Suddenly it felt like I was back in my body and I saw Jimmy bringing three girls over to some chairs. I gasp and when the girls sit down, one of them looks at me and I gasp again and then Raven says, “What’s your problem?” When the girl wasn’t looking I point at her and say to Raven, “I think no I know that, that girl is my mate.” Raven looks at the girl and she says, “You going to talk to her?” I shake my head and say, “I think I would say something stupid.”
Raven laughs and says, “Would you like me to bring her over here?” I look at Raven in shock and say, “You would do that for me?” Raven nods her head and says, “You’re a friend, I would be glad to do it for you but you owe me.” I laugh at that and say, “I knew there was a catch, but you got it.” Raven places a hand on my shoulder and she says, “Alright, I’m going now.” Raven begins to make her way towards the three girls and then Jace says, “Where is my mate going?” I tell him where she’s going and he says, “How come you couldn’t do it yourself?”
Jace and I were talking about some random shit that I didn’t realized that Raven was walking back until she says, “Jace come with me please.” I turned to face Raven and then I realized that Raven had brought her. Jace stands up and walks off with Raven so I say, “My name is Ash.” The girl sits down in a chair beside me and she says, “My name is Lily.” I whisper her name and she says, “I was wondering if you….” I frown at that and say, “Wondering if I want what?” Lily looks down at the ground and she says, “I was wondering if you wanted to exchange numbers.” I smile at that and say, “Of course I would love to.” After we exchanged numbers Lily says, “Would you like to go on a date with me?” I eagerly nod my head and she says, “Great! I’ll text you where I live.”
Raven’s P.O.V.
Jace and I waked away from Ash so he could talk to the girl who he says is his mate. Jace shakes my shoulder and he says, “Hey, I just realized something; she’s a vampire like us.” I stop walking and say, “You just noticed?” Jace laughs and says, “Yeah.” I shake my head and then Jace pulls me towards him and he kisses me hard. I smile at that and I kiss him back and he says, “You know I love you right?” I nod my head shyly and say, “I know and I love you too.”
Jace kisses my nose and he says, “Want to go back over to Ash and see what’s going on?” I nod my head eagerly and we make our way back to Ash. When we arrived we noticed that the girl was gone so Jace says, “Where is the girl at?” Ash sighs sadly and he says, “She left.” I put a hand on his shoulder and he says, “But she wants to hang out tomorrow.” Jace sits down in a chair and then pulls me onto his lap and Ash says, “Uh… I so want to go home now.” Right after Ash says that Jace’s dad says, “Good, let’s go.” We all get up and make our way towards the front door and when we got to the front door, we noticed that Ash wasn’t with us but then we saw that he was talking to Jimmy.
After Ash hugs Jimmy he comes walking back over to us and when he stops in front of us he says, “Sorry wanted to say bye to Jimmy.” James, Jace’s dad, opens up the door and he says, “Alright let’s go.” We get into the car and James says, “I feel like stopping at the park for a bit, anybody else feeling that?” Everybody including me says yes and James begins to drive towards the park and when we arrived we all got out. Jace grabs my hand and we head over to the swings and for some reason, Ash follows us so Jace says, “Why you following?” Ash shrugs his shoulders and he says, “Raven?” I stop in my tracks and Ash says, “Lily…. The girl whose my mate, wanted me to thank you on her behalf.” I grin at that and say, “So her name is Lily, huh?” I turn around to face Ash and he says, “Yeah…and she was hoping that you both could be good friends.”
