Raven’s P.O.V.
Gage and I were talking about what we like to do during our free time when we heard a knock on the door so Gage opens it and its Jeremiah with Jace. I smile at Jeremiah and he says, “Gage let’s leave Raven and Jace alone.” They both leave and Jace comes in the room and I say, “When were you planning on telling me that your dad left so you could fully mate with me?” Jace sighs and says, “I was planning on telling you when I got up.” I nod my head and Jace says, “Jeremiah says he’s going to stay here until dad gets back.” I nod my head again and say, “When does your dad get back?” Jace pulls me onto his bed and says, “Next week.”
I gasp and Jace says, “It’s not bad, although I might be getting shipped off somewhere to get disciplined.” I give him a look that says continue so he says, “My dad told me that if I didn’t mate with you by the time he got back, he was going to ship me off.” I gasp and say, “That’s not fair, for your father to do that to you.” Jace shrugs his shoulders and says, “I don’t think he’d do it anyway.” I glare at Jace and say, “You never know Jace, he just might do it.” Jace shrugs his shoulders and says, “Look Raven, even if my dad does ship me off; you will be staying with your family until I get back.” I sigh and say, “That’s not the point Jace; I don’t want you to leave.” Then just as I said that, somebody begins knocking on the door and Jace whispers to me, “I don’t want to leave either but if dad says that I have to then I will go.” I nod my head and Jace continues with, “I love you Raven.” I kiss Jace on the lips and say, “I love you too Jace.”
After I said that, Jace got up and answered the door but nobody was there except a note that was addressed to me. Jace picks it up, shuts the door and hands me the note. I open it up and it says, “Jeremiah told me you that he left for a bit to see if your brothers wanted to come and see you; also he says to stay in the house and don’t leave.” After I finish reading the note, Jace asks to read it so I let him and I sit back down on the bed.
Jace’s P.O.V.
*One week later*
My family arrives home and despite my pleas of Jeremiah leaving, he kept telling me that he was going to give my dad a piece of his mind. My dad comes in and right when he shuts the door, Jeremiah comes over and punches my dad in the face. Before I can run over to my dad; Jeremiah yells out, “What the hell were you thinking of allowing this to happen!?” My dad glares at me and says, “I just wanted them to be fully mated.” Jeremiah growls and says, “They hardly even know each other and yet you expect them to fully mate?” My dad sighs and then my brothers come in and Skylar says, “Who is this guy?” Just as I’m about to speak; Raven comes in and says, “That’s Jeremiah, my great-grandpa.”
Jeremiah smiles at Raven and my dad says to me, “Help Raven pack up her belongings; she’s leaving and you, Jace better pack up too.” I sigh and say, “You weren’t kidding.” My dad shakes his head and says, “Now go start packing.” I grab Ravens’ hand and I take her to her room to help her pack. When we get into Raven’s room, I shut her door and I say, “I thought maybe my dad might be kidding.” Raven begins packing and then I help her too. We get done in two hours and then Jeremiah comes in and begins grabbing boxes.
After all the boxes are in Jeremiahs’ car, I pull Raven towards me and I hug her then kiss her on the lips. Raven begins crying so I kiss her tears away and then I hug her again. We stay like that for an hour before Jeremiah comes back inside and says, “Raven its time to go.” I kiss Raven on the lips and then I whisper in her ear, “I love you.” Raven repeats it back to me and I say to her, “I will call you whenever I can.” Raven nods her head and then I let her go so she can leave. I watch as Raven leaves and my dad says, “I’m sorry Jace.” I nod my head and say, “At least Raven gets to spend time with her family.” After I say that, I head into my room to begin packing. After I get done packing, somebody begins knocking on my door, so I turn around to face a stranger.
