Raven’s P.O.V.
After Jace’s father says its okay for him to go, I grab my phone and I text my dad telling him that I’m going to be coming over with Jace. Dad texts back saying that he’s fine with it. Jace comes over to me and says, “We ready to go?” I nod my head and we head out the door to Jace’s car. As soon as we get in, we drive off and then Jace says, “Where’s your house at?” I told him the directions and we got to my dad’s house in one hour. I was about to open up the car door to step outside but somebody opens up the door for me so I step out and then I finally get a chance to see who’s the opening the door for me.
I wait to look at the person until the car door shuts and then I look at the person and it’s Axel. He smiles at me and says, “Hey, Raven.” I smile back at him and say, “Hey Axel, how are you?” He nods his head and says, “Better now that my sister is here.” I smile again and then Jace comes over and Axel says, “He’s coming in?” Jace nods his head and says, “Yeah is that alright with you?” Axel sighs and says, “If it were up to me no, but dad says its fine.”
We head inside the house and my dad walks over to me and pulls me into a tight hug. I hug him back and then after we get done hugging, the dad glares at Jace and says, “You start anything and you get kicked out of my house.” Jace nods his head and says, “I promise that I won’t start anything.” My dad shakes his head and says, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” I shake my head and my dad says, “Raven, I’m sorry, I can’t trust an enemy.” I sigh and say, “Dad, Jace is not an enemy anymore remember, he’s my mate.” Dad shakes his head and says, “I don’t give a shit if he’s your mate or not, I can’t trust him anyway.”
I shake my head and say, “Can you at least try to trust him?” My dad shrugs his shoulders and says, “I will try, only cause it’s to make you happy.” I smiled at my dad and say, “Thank you dad.” My dad smiles back at me and says, “Your welcome, there’s boxes in your room.” I hug my dad before I head into my room to begin packing some stuff.
Jace’s P.O.V.
I follow after Raven and I realized that I finally get to see what her room looks like and I started saying to myself, ‘Please don’t let her room be all girly.’ When I enter her room, her walls are painted blue but you can hardly tell its blue because she has posters everywhere. I gasped when I realized that we both like a lot of the same bands and then I say to Raven, “I didn’t know you like a lot of the same bands as me.” Raven turns around and says, “I knew.” I give her a questioning look and she says, “I went through your i-pod when you weren’t in your room.” I nod my head and then Raven hands me her i-pod and says, “You can see what kinda bands and songs I have if you want.” I nod my head and then I ask Raven if it’s okay if I sit on her bed and she says that I can.
I quickly go through her songs so I can help Raven pack up some of her stuff. After I get done going through the songs, I place the i-pod on Raven’s desk and then I say, “Need me to help with anything?” Raven nods her head and begins to pull manga off of the bookshelf and then she says, “Grab a box and put these in it nicely.” I shake my head and say, “Babe, you should know that I wouldn’t just throw your stuff into boxes.” Raven smiles at me and says, “I know that Jace, I was just messing around with you.” I shake my head again and then I begin to pack the manga’s into the box. I was so into putting the manga into the box that I didn’t realize that Raven had grabbed her i-pod and plugged it into her speakers. I heard the beginning of a very familiar song by Disturbed and that song was called, ‘Serpentine.’ I raised my head and I say, “Great song.” Raven smiles and then I go back to putting the manga in the box. After we got done loading the boxes into my car, Raven heads back inside to hug her family. She comes back outside, walks up to me and says, “Are we leaving now?” I nod my head and I lead her into the car and then we drive off heading home.
