Raven’s P.O.V.
It was ten thirty and dad still hasn’t shown up yet so I got up and went into my room and lay on my bed. At eleven forty, I heard a car door slam shut and the front door opened and closed so I ran downstairs to face my dad. I clear my throat to get his attention and once when I got it I say, “What did Jace want?” Dad shakes his head and says, “Ask Jace when you see him.” I sigh; about ready to say something when dad growls loudly making me flinch and he says, “End of discussion.” My eyes lower to the ground and dad comes over and he takes my hand in his and he says, “I’m sorry Raven.” I raise my hand up to look at dad and say, “It’s alright dad.”
He smiles slightly at me and then he lets go of my hand and I say, “I’m going to go to my room now.” Dad nods his head and he says, “I’ll come up later.” I went up to my room and I decided to call Jace but for some reason, he didn’t answer which made me worry. I decided to ignore that worrying feeling because I just figured that he must’ve had a good reason for not answering. I sigh out loud and lie down on my bed and fall asleep. I woke up the next morning and grabbed my phone to see what time it was and I saw that Jace had tried to call. I called him back and he answered on the third ring and he says, “Sorry I missed your call.”
We talk for an hour and then I say, “Can you come over now?” Jace chuckles and says, “Of course I can come over now, just need to shower and I’ll be over.” We hung up and then I get up and head into the bathroom to shower. I got done with everything and went downstairs to wait for Jace to come over. Thirty minutes later, somebody begins knocking on the door so I get up, head for the door and answer it. The person standing at the door is Jace and he says, “Wanna head to my house to talk?” I nod my head and say, “Let me get my shoes on.” Jace comes inside and then I head up to my room to get my shoes on. Once they were on, I went downstairs and Jace stands up and says, “Ready to go?”
Jace’s P.O.V.
I was nervous about telling Raven what I had told her dad because I was thinking to myself that she would never want to see or speak to me again. When we arrived to my house, I knew that I had to tell Raven. We slowly walked up the stairs to my room and when we arrived, I told Raven to sit on my bed. When she sat on the bed, I sit down afterwards and I groan loudly wondering where the hell to start. I place my hands in my head and didn’t say anything for a while until I feel somebody touch my shoulder. I lift my head up to face my beautiful mate and she says, “Whatever it is that you need to say, I won’t get mad.” I sigh in relieve, hoping that, that stays true and I say, “I hope that what you said is true because I really don’t want you mad at me.” Raven kisses my cheek and she says softly, “I will never be mad at you, I love you too much to ever be mad at you.”
I grin at that and say, “I hope that’s true, now where do I begin?” I go through my thoughts and try to find a place to begin and once when I did I say, “Remember when you told me that you began crying for no reason and that you felt like crap when I left?” Raven nods her head and I continue with, “The reason is because we can no longer be apart from each other for too long or we’ll begin to feel sick.” Raven doesn’t say anything for a while and it makes me feel like she’s gathering up energy to begin yelling at me. Then Raven turns to look at me and she says, “So what happens now?” I sigh in relieve and say, “Your father told me that he buy us a house of our choosing and he will pay for it plus whatever we want inside the house.” I was relieved that Raven wasn’t going to yell at me and she says, “When are we going to look for houses?” I stood up, walked over to my desk and pull out a piece of paper and hand it to Raven and I say, “That’s a list of houses that you and I can look at tomorrow; we will be getting up early to get a head start, alright?” Raven nods her head and I felt so much better getting that said and not having Raven argue about it with me.
