Jace’s P.O.V.
I couldn’t believe that Jake would take my mate and drive off somewhere without telling me first. I was pacing back in forth waiting for my mate to come back. A few minutes later I hear two doors being slammed so I opened up the door and I see Raven with Jake. I pulled Raven behind me and I say to Jake, “How dare you take my mate anywhere with asking me first.” Jake growls at me and just when we were about to punch each other out Raven gets in between us and she says, “Stop it the both of you!” I didn’t really want to but I couldn’t refuse especially when my beautiful mate was in front of me and then she says to me, “I went with Jake freely and he never touched me so please leave him alone.” I didn’t really want to drop the subject but it was my mate that was asking so I say, “Come on Raven, let’s go inside.”
I grab Raven’s hand and we make our way into the house and my dad says to Jake, “Did you talk to Raven like you wanted too?” I look at Jake and I see that he’s nodding his head and I say, “Yeah, he did but he took my mate somewhere without asking me first.” Dad looks at Jake wide eyed and Jake says, “I had a good reason besides I knew that Jace would keep listening in to the conversation.” I growl at that and say, “Maybe I had a good reason to keep checking on my mate because I don’t trust you.” Jake gets up in my face and he says, “Well, is she unhurt? Did I keep her safe?” I shoved Jake away from me and I say, “I appreciate that you kept my mate safe but next time you want to take her somewhere private, you let me know, alright?” Jake nods his head and he says, “I’m sorry; I should be leaving now.” After Jake says that he leaves the house and then I say to my dad, “Can Raven and I leave too?” I look at my dad and I see that he’s shaking his head and I say, “Why not?” My dad glares at me as he says, “Because I need talk to you alone.”
Raven’s P.O.V.
I knew that I had to leave so I say, “Who is watching me this time?” James yells out, “Ash, get in here!” Ash comes into the living room and he says, “What do you need?” James points to me and he says, “I need you to…” Ash puts up his hand and he says, “Let me guess you want me to watch her, right?” James nods his head and he says, “Please?” Ash sighs aloud as he says, “Fine, as long as I can take her outside.”
I look at Jace and say, “Can I please?” Jace nods his head and then Ash and I head outside. Before I leave the house I kiss Jace on the cheek and head out. Once when I stepped outside and closed the door Ash says, “What do you want to do?” I shrug my shoulders not really knowing and then Ash says, “What about taking a walk around the house?” I nod my head and say, “Sure.” We begin walking around the house and just when we were about to go around the house for a fifth time; Ash’s phone goes off. We stop walking so he can answer it and then he pulls out his phone and begins talking.
After Ash got done talking on the phone he says to me, “We can go inside now.” We head up the stairs and into the house and Jace says to me, “Were leaving babe.” I nod my head and say bye to Ash and James and then we went out the door. We got in the car and Jace drives off. We arrived home and we were about to sit down when somebody begins knocking on the door. Jace walks over to the door and it’s Max and he says, “Was wondering if I could hang out with you.” Jace nods his head and he says, “For a while.” After he says that, he lets him inside and he says to me, “Hey Raven.” I smile at him and say, “Hey Max.” Jace walks over to me and then when he turns around to look at Max he says, “What did you want to do?” Max shrugs his shoulders and he says, “I don’t know, play video games?”
