Raven’s P.O.V.
I hung up with Axel and I began making my way towards the entrance and I found him easily. He pulls me into a hug and I say, “Guess who I ran into.” Axel glares at me; he hates this game and he says, “I give up.” I hold out my hand and he hands me fifty dollars; Axel and I have a deal that if he can’t win the guessing game; he has to give me fifty dollars. After I put the money in my pocket I say, “I ran into Aiden.” Axel’s eyes get big and he says, “I haven’t seen him in a long time.” I nod my head and Axel grabs my hand and he leads me to his car.
We get into the car and drove off heading towards home. When we got home, I was planning on staying in my room for the rest of the night but when I went inside Axel decided that he was going to do everything he can to keep me from going to my room. I was heading towards the stairs to go up to my room when Axel says, “Raven wait.” I turn around to face Axel and he says, “Your not going to your room.” I give him a confused look and he says, “I am going to keep you from becoming a hermit.” I realized then what he was saying and I raised my hands in a surrender gesture; not wanting to get in an argument with him. Axel smiles at me and says, “Good, now come over here and let’s think of some fun stuff to do together.”
I show him the bags that are in my hands and say, “Can I put my stuff in my room first?” Axel glares at me thinking that I’m trying to get out of spending the rest of the day with him when I say, “I really do want to spend the rest of the day with you; I just want this stuff in my room.” Axel; satisfied with the fact that I want to spend some time with him says, “Alright go ahead Raven.” I smile at him and then I head into my room to place my stuff on the bed and then I head back downstairs to hang out with Axel. He smiles at me and says, “I was beginning to think you weren’t going to come back down.” I smile back at him and I then shake my head. Axel grabs my hand and says, “What do you want to do with your favorite brother?”
I laugh at that and say, “I don’t know you pick.” Axel gives me a sad look and I say, “Fine, let’s play Guitar Hero.” Axel smiles at that and I say, “Don’t go easy on me, alright?” Axel nods his head and he grabs my hand and leads me upstairs to his room. We play versus each other for two hours and then our fingers become numb so we decide to take a break. While we took a break; my phone began playing, ‘American Wasted’ by New Medicine and Axel glared at me, he hates that song so I grabbed my phone and went in the hallway. I checked who was calling me cause I was hoping that it was Jace but instead it was Aiden so I answered it and began talking to him.
After the conversation ended, I put my phone back in my pocket and opened up Axel’s door and as soon as I sat down, Axel says, “Who was that and what did they want?” I shake my head and say, “Why should I tell you?” Axel gives me a glare that says don’t start; so I say, “Fine, it was Aiden, he was asking if we could hang out tomorrow.” Axel nods his head and says, “Well at least you won’t be holed up in your room.” I give Axel a half smile and say, “Well, it’s not my fault that I want to be holed up in my room.” I say that last bit while I’m crying so Axel gets up, sits beside me and puts an arm around me and says, “I know that and I’m sorry Raven.” I was about to wipe my tears when Axel says, “Let me do that.”
I put my hands back on my lap and then Axel gently wipes away my tears. I smile at him and he smiles back at me and says, “If you want, you can go back to your room.” I smile again knowing that he feels bad for making me upset and I say, “I’ll stay in here, if that’s alright with you.” Axel nods his head slowly and says, “It’s alright with me but are you sure you want to stay in here after what I said to you?” I smile at him; lay my head on his shoulder and say, “I forgive you Axel, besides it’s rare that I ever spend a day with you.” Axel nods his head at what I had said and says, “That’s true isn’t it?” I nod my head and just when I’m about to speak somebody begins knocking on the door and then Axel gets up to answer it. When Axel opens up the door its dad that’s standing there and he says, “I’m leaving for work.”
