Two hours later Carl came in. "Mitchell, I have some files for you. They need your signature."

Mitchell looked at Carl confused. Carl tilted his head toward Helen then closed the door. I got to the receptionist she told me that she gave the papers to Helen. The funny thing she said is she forgot to give her some papers and she saw her put the court papers in the filing cabinet. When Helen saw she had seen her put it in the file, Helen told her that the papers were too important to leave on her desk and that you needed the file when you got back. She would make sure you got them."

"That bitch. We need those papers found." Mitchell pushes his chair back, then paces the floor. "We are going to have to search her files tonight."

"I got to get back to my office The Vegas people are contacting me I hope we get what you need."

"Go I have work to do."

Mitchell paced his office for a few minutes and got his nerves under control. "Helen bring in my itinerary."

"There are three meetings this afternoon. One is for lunch the other is at three and there is a dinner meeting."

"Remind me when the time comes for lunch, you know I always lose track when I get working."

"I was wondering do you want me to go with you for the meetings. It would be nice if I went with you for dinner. I could go home with you to enjoy an evening just you and me."

"That won't work this time. I have a meeting this evening after dinner."

"I could still go with you to any of the meetings today."

"There is a lot of paperwork that needs to be done. It would be better if you stayed here."

"I thought with Carl being here that your workload would be less."

"Carl is handling a big job for me, so he is very busy. You are going to have to keep up with some of the paperwork. I have enough on my desk right now. I know you have some of your own to do it is best if we both get started."

Helen left the office steaming. He is acting so differently toward me; I don't know why. I must see what is going on. When he leaves, I will look through his office.

Mitchell left his office later that day. "Helen, the final stage of the house is coming up I am going to see the construction team. This house is getting on my last nerve. It is already 5:00 so finish up what is on the desk and go home."

"All that is left is to file these papers. Did you sign the ones on your desk."

"I did, take them and make copies of each one then file them. The copies need to be mailed to the designated company."

"I will get it done then head home."

Amelia just left the airport when the kids got started. "Mum when are we getting our puppy?"

"When I get home, I will call the lady. Maybe we can go see the puppy today."

"Yay." The kids jumped up and down in the back seat. The minute they walked in the house the kids circled Amelia. "Call her now Mum."

Ames smiles at the kids. "Alright I will call the lady."

The kids giggled waiting for their Mum to make the call. "Hello, I am calling about the puppy. Our name is Driggers we are getting a little girl."

"I know who you are, she is doing well. She will be ready the end of the week."

"I was wondering if we could see the puppy today."
