Chapter 101

Mitchell arrives home at 8:00. He was tired and was looking forward to getting some much-needed sleep. The front door closes and his phone rings. "Mr. Wright, Helen fell, and the doctor said take her to the hospital."

"Fuck I am on my way. How did she fall?"

"Sir I was in the kitchen making food she was on the couch, and she got up to come in the dining room and fell in the middle of the room."

"Tell me the rest when I get there."

"Helen he is on the way. Just stay comfortable until he arrives."

"I think I can make it down the elevator it will save time."

"I will get the guards to help bring you down." When Mitchell gets there Helen is getting off the elevator.

"How is it you fell in the middle of a room."

"I got a sharp pain in my stomach, and it was so bad I couldn't stand up."

At the hospital the nurses and the guards go to the delivery room." You men wait out here, Mitchell go with that nurse and get changed. I will check on her."

Mitchell walks to the delivery room all suited up. Is the baby safe?"

"Everything is good with the baby. Being a month early he might need to be put in an incubator. I would like to do a C section if she doesn't have the baby fast enough."

"Do what you have to, all I care about is the baby is safe."

An hour went by with Helen moaning and screaming about the pain." Doctor, I need something for the pain I can't deal with it."

"You are too far along it wouldn't help you." Another hour passed. "You have to push. The baby came out crying. "Mitchell hold your daughter, you can't hold her long she needs to get in the incubator."

"Hello baby, is she going to be alright?" The nurse took her to the pediatrician, and they waited to hear what she said.

"Your girl is 5 lbs. 7 oz. she is 20 inches long. For being a month early, she is doing fine but to help her with her breathing she is going to spend the next two days in an incubator as a precaution."

"Congratulations Mitchell you have a girl."

Mitchell left the room without saying a word to Helen. He took out his phone. "Dad, I have a daughter. She is 5lbs 7oz and 20 inches long. She came a little early, but she is here, and she is a fighter."

"I am happy for you son." I will come over in the morning to see her. I know you know this, but make sure they keep her safe in the nursery. I don't trust that woman."

"I have two men at the only door into the room." Now it's time to decide what to do with her."

"You got time get some rest and decide in the morning."

"Tell my brother, I might miss his baby shower."

"I'll tell him."

The nurse came out of the nursery. "The doctor had us set up a chair and a cot for you next to your daughter. You are more than welcome to spend the night with her."

Helen was in her room. "I need to get out of here tonight. He took all the money I had in the bank. My dad told me not to trust banks, he was so right. That is why I have me 200,000 in a bus locker. Once I get out of here, I will come back, and they'll pay for what they have done to my family, and I will get my daughter."

The nurse came in at two in the morning to take her vitals. Ms. Baker, time to take your blood pressure."

"Could I go the bathroom first. I am having a hard time getting up."

"The nurse takes her in the bathroom as soon as she turns Helen takes the iv tube and wraps it around her neck. I no time the nurse is dead. She quickly changes clothes, takes her chart and pressure machine and walks out of the room. She gets to the stairs and runs down them as fast as she could. "They thought they had me, they thought wrong."

The shift was changing, and in the morning the nurse who was starting her shifts went looking for the night nurse. When she went in Helen's room, she didn't see the nurse or the patient. She figured the nurse was helping the patient and decided to check the bathroom. She saw the nurse dead on the floor, she screamed bringing in the guards. "Someone killed Margaret the night nurse."

"Fuck," the guard panicked, "Sir Helen escaped she killed the night nurse." Mitchell jumped out of the bed took off in a full run.

When he got to the room, he was furious. "How did she get past you."

"Sir she was in the nurses' uniform. They had the same color hair, and she had the clip bord along with the pressure machine how were we supposed to know especially when she wore a mask." The guard talking ended up on the floor from one punch. Mitchell then kicked him several times.

Carl's phone rang. "Yoh."

"Get the fuck up the useless pieces of shit guards let Helen escape. Get the police on it. Then get as many of our men on it as you can, I don't care if they shoot her on sight, I want her dead."

"What about the baby?"

"I had a girl last night she is fine; she won't be if we don't find the bitch. You did get the money back, so she is broke right."

"We got the money out of the banks. When we checked what she stole and what was there it didn't match. Over 160,000 is not counted for."

"Carl I am telling you we need better security men. Call Roman, tell him what is happening. Have him fire the men on his team and get new ones, better ones. If he can't get the job done, then I will find a different security company. His teams are messing up so much I don't know why I am paying any of them."

With in an hour Helens face was posted all over the country. The news had her picture shown every thirty minutes. "Rachel, I want you to get a cleaning grew over at 1451 Sycamore. I want the place cleaned up. The two rooms next to the master bedroom are to be turned into nurseries. If there is a child's room in that spot have it moved over. I want the kids room to look the exact same only in a different room. Find the best designer and get the nurseries set up one with two beds and one with one." If you can get this done in the next three days, I will promote you to my assistant. If you can't you're fired. One more thing, find another secretary to take your place. One way or another you won't be there."

Rachel sounded a little nervous. "I will get right on it." Before she hangs up. "Do we have a key. Also do you still want the work done on your house?"

"It is here with me at the hospital. I am in the nursery. My daughter was born last night. No let the other house go for now." Mitchell never left the nursery; he missed his brother's baby shower on Saturday.

His dad, Bridget, and his brother Michael and his wife Laury came to see the baby prior to the shower. "Well bro that makes four. I am stopping at one."

"I thought we decide at two so they wouldn't be lonely."

"Come on Laurey we are living by dad along with Mitchell and his kids. Ours can go over and play she will never be lonely."

"It is not the same. We will have two."

Michael gave her a hug and a kiss on her temple. "If that is what my girl wants then that is what my girl gets."

"Mitchell, we have to go the shower is this afternoon."

"Thanks for coming I hope you two are as happy as our dad and mom were."
