Kenny sighed, thinking about what (y/n) had said. He didn't know how to help her, she wouldn't listen. Kenny never knew somebody like her. She never listened to him. She told him everything but didn't listen when he spoke.

'She says she wants to end it all when she's all alone in her room
She cries
The way she feels inside is too much for her
When all you got is these four walls
It's not that hard to feel so small
Or even exist at all
How come no one heard her when she said'

Kenny knew what she had to handle. It was a lot for a teenage girl. She had to raise her little sister by herself, deal with an alcoholic mother and an abusive father. Not to mention with the stress from loads of homework. He wish he knew what she was feeling. He wish he knew what she was doing right now. Was she laughing? Crying alone? Being hit? Worst of all, was she cutting? She could be dead right now and he would never know.

(Y/N) sat in her room, not alone. Her father yelling and rambling on about how she needed to clean up her act.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! You're not depressed! Clean your fucking room, what a fucking pig. Be more like your sister! She's less of a disgrace." Her father, Daniel, yelled. Daniel grabbed her hair and yanked her up. "Do you understand me?!" She gave a nod and slumped down onto the bed when he released her. He left the room, slamming the door behind him. (Y/N) felt a tear leak from her left eye and wiped it away. 'Maybe my father was right. I should just die.' She thought to herself as more tears flowed.

'Maybe I'm better off dead
If I was would it finally be enough
To shut out all those voices in my head?
Maybe I'm better off dead
Better off dead!
Did you hear a word
Hear a word I said?
This is not where I belong
You gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gone, gone
This is not where I belong
You gonna miss me when I'm gone'

She sobbed louder, and heard the door creak open. She reached a hand up to hide her face. She feared it was her mother, or her father who had come back. A little face peered in through a crack.

"(nickname)?" The little girl called and opened the door farther. She quietly shut the door and flung herself onto (Y/N)'s bed. Abby sat in her lap playing with her sisters hands. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay, Abs." (Y/N) said and hugged her sister from the back as hard as she could. She didn't want to let go.

Kenny McCormick paced around his room, his hand through his hair. He couldn't stand not knowing where she was. He finally had enough, he grabbed his orange parka and ran out the door. On the way there, he thought about how beautiful she was. Her (h/l) (h/c) fell around her (s/c) face.

'She doesn't know she's beautiful
'Cause no one's ever told her so'

Kenny felt bad. About her home life, school life. Just her life in general. She didn't know anything. She'd always been abused.

'And the demons that she hides are all she knows
And maybe she can fall in love with someone in her life that she could trust
And tell her she's enough (Will someone tell her she's enough?)'

Kenny realized he was absolutely in love with her. All this time, and he just realized it now. He should of told her sooner, how much he loved her.

'How come no one heard her when she said
Maybe I'm better off dead
If I was would it finally be enough
To shut out all those voices in my head?
Maybe I'm better off dead
Better off dead!
Did you hear a word
Hear a word I said?
This is not where I belong
You gonna miss me when I'm gone
This is not where I belong
You gonna miss me when I'm gone'

(Y/N) told Abby to get out of her room in the nicest way possible. She wanted to be alone, she wanted to cry. She looked under her pillow for her knife. She positioned it at her wrist. She stopped, and started thinking about her life. Abby would miss her. Her parents would maybe even feel bad. Her friends would miss her. She gulped. Kenny would miss her. But other than them, she felt all alone. (Y/N) practically never left the house, she barely even left her room. She felt trapped like if she didn't leave while she had a chance, she could never leave. She wanted to be there for Abby. She wanted to be enough for the world.

'When all you got is these four walls
It's not hard to feel so small
When all you got is these four walls
It's not hard to feel so small
All she wanted was to be enough
All she wanted was to be enough
So what does it take?
Maybe it's not too late
Yeah no one heard her when she said'

She sobbed and threw the knife across the room. She knew she had to kill herself, it was the only way. The only way to escape this living hell. But she couldn't leave her sister like that. Alone and stuck with her parents. The knife was stuck deep in the wall. She went to retrieve it. This time there was no hesitation. (y/n) angled the knife at her wrist, striking down on it. She screamed in agony and pulled the knife across. Red blood oozed from her wrist all the way down onto her bed. Her tears dripped down onto the blood, mixing together to form one of the saddest potions.

'Maybe I'm better off dead
If I was would it finally be enough
To shut out all those voices in my head?
Maybe I'm better off dead
Better off dead!
Did you hear a word
Hear a word I said?
This is not where I belong
You gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gone, gone
This is not where I belong
You gonna miss me when I'm gone
Gone, gone
This is not where I belong
You gonna miss me when I'm gone'

The silence was ended by somebody busting through the door. It was Kenny. She looked up and then looked away. Kenny rushed forward, taking the knife, chucking it across the room. He used his parka to clog the blood and scooped her into his arms.

"Stop." He whispered into her ear.

"Why?" She replied, emotionlessly and her body lose.

"Because I love you."

"That's...that's a good reason." She pulled away and kissed him.
