lilith twisted the key in the hole before hearing it click loudly. lilith scrunched her face up before pushing down on the door handle. lilith placed her free hand on the door, slowly and carefully pushing it open. it creaked slightly, causing lilith to bite down on her lip harshly. "raven!" lilith whisper-yelled once the door was open enough for her to see into the dark room. the light from the hallway shone through the room. lilith squinted her eyes, scanning the room for her twin sister. suddenly, her eyes landed upon her figure. "raven!"

immediately, lilith sprinted towards the blonde girl, dropping herself to the floor next to her. lilith breathed shakily, her hands reaching down to cup her sisters cheeks. "li- lily?" ravens voice croaked, her eyes widening in surprise at the sight of her twin sister. "oh, my god. you're okay!" raven shot forwards from the ground, throwing her arms around her body. lilith buried her head into the crook of raven's neck, her face scrunching up as she tried to stop the tears from falling from her eyes. "i-i thought you were dead."

lilith pulled back, her hands resting on each of ravens shoulders. "i thought you were dead." lilith repeated back to her, causing the two girls to laugh along with one another. however, it was cut short by lilith whom shook her head. "we can laugh about this later when we're safe from trevor. for now, we've got to get out of here." lilith stated before moving out of the way to help raven stand up. she held her hands out, allowing raven to take them in her own. raven lifted from the floor with a grunt, pain shooting up her back. "are you okay?" lilith asked, furrowing hee eyebrows in concern.

raven nodded her head, forcing a smile onto her lips. and although, lilith could see behind her fake smile, she had no time to question it. they had to leave before trevor came home again. "let's go, right now." raven announced, grabbing a tight hold of liliths hand which was now wiped clean of the sheriffMs blood. lilith hummed before leading the way to the door. the pair paused in the open doorframe, sparing one last glance to ravens bedroom. it was dark and messy with her blankets from the bed half off the bed and clutter spread across the floor. trevor's doing of course. raven released a sigh, her chest dropping down low. "i'm going to miss this." she stated, a sad look falling across her face.

lilith hummed in agreement, pushing her lips into a thin line. "this is the last time we step foot in this house, okay? there's no coming back after this. raven, look at me." lilith waited for her sister to meet her gaze. once she finally did, the pair stared into each others eyes, blankly. "he'll never hurt us again. we stay together, he can't hurt us, he can't touch us ever again. this is it. this is the moment we've been waiting for since we got here. since we were twelve. i don't care if this is the last thing i do, we're getting out of here together, no matter what it takes. i love you, ray."
