Kiyansh has fallen asleep in Kavyansh's arms who is now walking down the stairs. However, he hears some voices talking a little away from him so he quickly walks down to see that's the voices are coming from Varenya and Meghna's shared room. He can hear Varenya calling out for Kiyansh so without wasting any more time, he walks towards the door.

On the other hand, Meghna gets up from the bed and walks near the door before opening it to see that Kavyansh is standing there holding a sleeping Kiyansh in his arms.

"Kiwi!" Varenya calls out while rushing towards them before either Kavyansh or Meghna can say anything to each other.

"Mister Prince, give Kiwi to Varu. Kiwi is sad so Varu will hold him." By saying this Varenya takes Kiyansh in her arms from Kavyansh and returns back to the bed.

"Kiwi will stay with Varu only." Varenya says pulling Kiyansh close to her chest while Kavyansh looks kind of shocked as well as surprised to see this of his Lotus. Although she doesn't know about Kiyansh being her son, yet she has managed to understand when he is not feeling good.

"Is Kiyansh okay? Because Varenya only does this whenever Kiyansh doesn't feel good or cries secretly." Meghna tells Kavyansh making him realise that Varenya may have forgotten everything but the mother inside her can never forget her child.

"I will tell you everything tomorrow. For now, let Kiyansh stay here with Varenya and you too go to sleep." Kavyansh replies and then takes a last glance at the mother-son duo before leaving from there.

Meghna locks the door and walks towards the bed to see that Varenya is sitting with Kiyansh on her lap. Varenya is petting Kiyansh's head softly while singing a lullaby which she has learnt from her Mamoni.

Khoka ghumalo para juralo

Borgi elo deshe,

Bulbulite dhan kheyeche

Khajna dibo kishe.

Dhan furalo, pan furalo

Khajnar upaye ki?

Ar kota din shobur koro

Roshun bunechi.

(The Child sleeps, Everywhere is calm and serene,
But the Tax-collectors have returned.
The Nightingales have ate all the crops. Alas!
How can we pay our taxes?
No wheat, No leaves,
O What will we do?
Please wait a few more days O Tax-collectors,
The seeds of Garlic we have just planted.)

Meghna wipes the tears coming out of her eyes seeing the way Varenya is consoling Kiyansh who has clung to his mother tightly in his sleep. Meghna remembers how uncomfortable Varenya felt when Kiyansh was brought home for the first time. Varenya refused to even look at him saying that he didn't play with her so she didn't want him. But whenever he used to cry, it was Varenya who started to cry along with him. It took a few months for Varenya to fully accept Kiyansh but when she did, he became her best friend.

"Anu, Kiwi has fallen asleep. So, put him in the bed and you too sleep beside him." Meghna says after sometime looking at the clock to see that it's now nearly 3 AM in the night.

"Okay." Varenya mumbles and puts Kiyansh in the middle of the bed before she too lies beside him.

"Mamoni..." Varenya says softly making Meghna to look at her.

"Yes, Anu?" Meghna asks lying down on the other side of Kiyansh.

"Kiwi was crying." Varenya remarks.

"Maybe he saw a scary dream in his sleep which made him cry." Meghna replies trying to divert Varenya's mind or she will keep asking question after question.
