The next day brings a fresh beginning. The morning sun streams into the house, warm and bright as everyone gathers at the dining table for breakfast. The air is lighter, the silence of yesterday replaced by the soft clinking of spoons and occasional laughter. They talk about little things- memories from childhood, food preferences, jokes whispered between cousins. But not a single word is spoken about what happened yesterday. There is no need. The monsters of the past have no place at this table anymore.
Varenya and Adwait are introduced to their aunts and cousins. It's a little awkward at first. Nervous smiles, hesitant words but within minutes, the warmth in the room melts the stiffness. Kanonbala wastes no time in pulling them into her embrace. She doesn't miss a chance to pamper her grandchildren, even the Rathores, treating them as if they have always been part of the family.
Ritika listens patiently as the two girls confide in her. They no longer wish to be tied to the men they were forced to marry. All they want is to work, to build their own lives and to take care of their mother. Ritika assures them in her calm, firm way that their divorces will be finalized soon. She has always been someone who gets things done- quietly, without drama but with unshakable determination.
Pradeep's daughter has her own dreams. She wants to study more, go to college, learn new things. Because she believes that one day, she will be strong enough to take care of her mother too. Her voice trembles with emotion when she says it but her eyes shine with determination.
Finally, it's decided. They will leave West Bengal. They will settle in Rajasthan. The family name has already been dragged through enough mud, and none of them want to hold on to the painful memories tied to this place. They want peace. They want to start over.
Adwait has already asked his PA to get one of his mansions ready. He wants his grandmother and the rest of the family to live there comfortably. Indrajit, ever the humble one tries to refuse. But Adwait is not having it. He whines like a child in front of Kanonbala, knowing full well that she can't say no to him and of course, she doesn't.
Later in the day, Varenya video calls Aaradhya and one by one, the rest of the family joins in. Laughter echoes through the room as everyone gathers around the phone screen. Kiyansh squeals in excitement the moment he sees his new aunts, grandmothers and especially his great-grandmother. He keeps talking non-stop, describing all the fun things he's going to do once everyone returns to Rajasthan. His joy is contagious, no one can stop smiling.
Meanwhile, far away from the happy chatter, Kavyansh is busy tying up loose ends. He instructs Basheer to stage a fake accident, one that shows Debanjon Chowdhury and Pradeep Chowdhury as dead. Soon, the news spreads like wildfire across every tabloid in the country. The world believes the villains are gone. No one will come looking for them now.
Currently, Varenya stands outside Indrajit's room. The door is half-closed. She gently knocks and steps in after hearing his soft reply. He is sitting on the bed, surrounded by papers and files but he sets them aside as she walks in.
She sits down across from him and smiles. Her voice is gentle as she thanks him.
"Thank you, Chhoto Mama. For everything. For everything you've done for me, for Mamoni and for everyone." Varenya says, feeling grateful to have such supportive in her life.
Indrajit smiles softly, setting the files aside, his gaze gentle. He watches her for a moment before replying.
"You know, when we were children, Maa used to tell us stories about Krishna and Kans. But I was always fascinated with Dhrishtadyumna from the Mahabharata. While Krishna was praised as the perfect Mama for Abhimanyu, no one ever mentioned how Dhrishtadyumna was there for his sister and her sons, supporting them during a tough time." Indrajit says while Varenya listens intently, her fingers nervously fidgeting with the hem of her sleeve. She knows where this is going.
