Debanjon doesn't move, doesn't speak. Because he can't. His daughter stands before him, with her daughter beside her. But Adwait? Adwait was supposed to be on his side.

His mind whirls in confusion. Why is Adwait calling him Dadu? What is this nonsense? Has he been deceived? Lied to? Had Adwait only pretended to turn against the Rathores, only to betray him at the last moment?

And the papers- no, that can't be true. He read them himself. Every clause, every detail. He checked them, actually double-checked them. No one could fool him so easily. He made sure of it. Then how? How could those very documents be property papers?

His pulse pounds in his ears as his grip tightening on the rifle once more. His vision blurs but not from fear. Rage, disbelief, a creeping sense of dread clawing at his chest. His own mind refuses to believe what he is hearing. Because if it's true, if Adwait really has turned against him then he has lost everything.

"Arey, itna sunke hi haalat kharab ho gayi? Abhi to sirf trailer dikhaya hai, puri picture to baaki hai, Dadu." Adwait grins, his voice dripping with sarcasm, as if he didn't just give the old man a near heart attack.

(Oh, you're already feeling overwhelmed just hearing this? This was just the trailer, Dadu. The full movie is yet to come.)

"Get out of here before I shoot every single one of you!" Debanjon thunders as his furious glare fixed on them. But before he can even think of pulling the trigger, Varenya steps forward effortlessly grabbing the rifle. She tilts her head, giving him a slow yet cruel smile.

"You are really getting old." Varenya muses, her voice almost pitying.

"Because clearly, you didn't hear what my Dadabhai just said. This mansion belongs to us and you have no right to tell us to leave." She deliberately drags out the word Dadabhai, making sure even Debanjon's limited brain cells register the fact that Adwait is her brother.

"Dadabhai?" Pradeep Chowdhury echoes from behind, his confusion mirroring the stunned expressions of the other family members who have just arrived.

"Oh my God, you people seriously need doctors. And not just any doctors, you need specialists." Ritika sighs dramatically while shaking her head. She pulls out a folder and shoves it toward Pradeep, flashing him an innocent smile.

"I hope you know how to read properly." She adds sweetly but her tone filled with mock concern.

"Also, we need to go inside. Our mother has traveled a long way and needs rest." Adwait interrupts, his voice casual but firm. And just like that, he drops another bomb, watching in amusement as the Chowdhurys stare at him, their faces frozen in pure, unfiltered shock.

"Meghu!"

A voice cuts through the tension, distant yet urgent. And the moment Meghna hears it, she stops in her tracks, her breath hitching. Then, without a second thought, she steps past her father, her eyes searching frantically. The second she spots her mother, her feet move faster almost breaking into a run.

But Debanjon doesn't care about that reunion. His fingers tighten around the rifle, his gaze locked onto Meghna. Desperation flares in his eyes as he suddenly lunges trying to snatch the weapon from Varenya's grip. But she doesn't let him. She twists the rifle out of his reach and pulls it away roughly. In one smooth motion, she gives it into Kavyansh's waiting hands. His fingers close around it effortlessly while his calm gaze never leaving Debanjon.

At the same moment, Jivika unclips Hulk's leash. The massive beast bolts forward with purpose, his powerful legs pounding against the ground. His thick fur ripples as he charges and a low growl rumbles from deep within his chest. Within seconds, he reaches Varenya's side planting himself in front of her like an impenetrable shield. His sharp eyes lock onto Debanjon, unblinking and merciless.
