For a few seconds Varenya becomes stiff with the sudden kiss but as soon as Kavyansh grips her ass, she too starts kissing him back with the same passion. Her arms found their way around his neck, fingers tangling in his hair as the world around them blurred into nothingness. The intensity of the moment was what they have been missing since years, which they have finally found. So, it's bound to make them forget about other things.

As Kavyansh tenderly bites Varenya's lips, careful not to hurt her as Varenya opens her mouth without hesitation inviting him in. Their tongues meet in a passionate clash, each vying for dominance. In the end, Kavyansh allows his Lotus to claim victory. While Varenya sucks on Kavyansh's tongue, he pulls her closer eliminating any space between them.

After a while, when both feel the need to breathe they pull away from the kiss. Varenya rests her forehead against Kavyansh's chest breathing heavily, while Kavyansh places his chin gently on top of her head. Neither of them says a word, allowing the silence in the room to envelop them. Despite all their conversations, it feels as though much remains unsaid. They have been sharing a bed, cuddling as they sleep, but neither has dared to move beyond that. Something has been holding them back, but today, they have finally crossed that invisible boundary.

"Kavi..." Varenya says softly.

"Hmm..." Kavyansh replies.

"Agar main sach mein mar gayi hoti to kya tum hamesha akele rehte, shaadi nahi karte kisi aur se?" Varenya asks with nervousness clear in her tone.

(If I had really died, would you have stayed alone forever? Wouldn't you have married someone else?)

Kavyansh takes off his hands away from Varenya's waist making her worried, thinking that her Kavi might have gotten angry with her. But much to her surprise, Kavyansh gives her a genuine smile and then caresses her face softly.

"Aap bataiye, agar aapki jagah humein kuch ho jata to kya aap kisi aur se shaadi kar leti?" Kavyansh asks and instantly a frown appears on Varenya's pretty face.

(You tell me, if something had happened to me instead of you, would you have married someone else?)

"Kabhi bhi nahi, mujhe bas mera Kavi hi chahiye aur dusra koi nahi." Varenya replies with a pout.

(Never, I only want my Kavi no one else.)

"Aapke bina humari zindagi bohot adhuri ho gayi thi. Hum to khud ke liye jeena kya hota hai, wahi bhul gaye the. Par ab phir se zindagi se pyaar karne lage hain, kyunki humari zindagi ka noor jo wapas aa gaya hai." Kavyansh says holding his wife by wrapping his hands around her waist as he looks down at her, only to find her smiling.

(Without you, my life had become very incomplete. I had even forgotten what it meant to live for myself. But now, I have started loving life again because the light of my life has returned.)

"Maine bhi to promise kiya tha ki main apne Kavi ki muskan ban ke hamesha uske saath rahungi. Ha, kuch saalon ke liye bhale hi hum saath nahi reh paaye, par ab kuch bhi ho jaye, Lotus apne Kavi ko chhodke kahin nahi jaane wali." Varenya replies getting on her tiptoes, only to softly kiss her husband on the lips making him smile.

(I had also promised that I would always stay with my Kavi as his smile. Yes, we couldn't stay together for a few years, but now no matter what happens, Lotus is never going to leave her Kavi again.)
