An important announcement:
From now on, the story will be published twice a week but I won't commit any specific days. With my final exams approaching at the end of March, I need to prioritize both my studies and my health.
One more thing, neither Geetanjali nor Jivika has any connection to Indrajit. All will be revealed in due time, so I ask for your patience as the story unfolds.
Kindly don't forget to vote and comment to support this story❤️

"Maa, can you help me with this sum?" Kiyansh asks looking at Varenya who is typing something on her laptop.
"Yes, baby. Come on, show me which sum you need help with." Varenya replies putting the laptop aside.
"This one." Kiyansh says pointing at his notebook where he is doing his homework.
"Oh, this is fun! I used to love doing sums like this." Varenya remarks in an excited tone which makes Kiyansh excited as well.
"Really?" Kiyansh asks looking at his mother with curious eyes.
"Of course! Your Dadu used to teach me whenever I couldn't solve one. Although I knew most of the sums, I still used to make him do my homework just for fun." Varenya replies making Kiyansh giggle.
"You were so naughty!" Kiyansh remarks covering his mouth with his little hands to control his laughter.
"A lot! But your Dadu never complained about it." Varenya says tickling her son who can't stop himself from laughing loudly.
"Now, come on. Keep your books and notebooks aside and let's sleep. You can complete your homework tomorrow since you don't have school, so you are free." Varenya says after a while as Kiyansh looks at his mother with twinkling eyes.
"Maa, will you tell me a bedtime story?" Kiyansh asks excitedly and Varenya smiles at him nodding in response.
"I will tell you a real story." Varenya says clearing the bed before instructing Kiyansh to lie down. He does so instantly as his excitement palpable. Usually, it's his Papa who tells him different stories but tonight finally his Maa is going to tell him one.
Varenya sits on the edge of the bed, her fingers gently brushing through her son's soft hair as his big, curious eyes fix on her. Tonight she has decided to tell him the truth or at least, a version of it that he can understand. The weight of her words feels heavy but she knows the sooner he hears it from her the better. Kiyansh, after all has a knack for unraveling mysteries with his endless questions. Better he learns the truth from her lips than from whispers he can't piece together.
"Do you know, sweetheart your Adi Mamu isn't just your fun uncle who sneaks you extra chocolates or gives you gifts. He is actually your real maternal uncle, my big brother." Varenya begins as her voice soft but steady.
"Adi Mamu is your real brother? But how can this be possible?" Kiyansh blinks looking at his mother as a flicker of confusion passing over his face.
Varenya smiles, her heart swelling with the complexity of her own story. She anticipated this. Because she knows that her curious Kiwi will asks her this question and many more.
"It's like this, Kiwi. Your Meghna Didon is my mother, my real mother and your Adi Mamu is my twin brother. But I also have another mother, your Bondita Didon who raised me. Just like you have three mummas- Angel Mumma, Princess Mumma, and me. I grew up with two mothers too. One gave me life and the other raised me with all the love in the world." Varenya replies as her fingers keeps on moving into a rhythm.
