We met at the crossroads, hearts open wide,
With paths before us, and no need to hide.
You were a fire, burning bright in my chest,
A choice unspoken, yet felt with each breath.

The roads stretched far, in all directions unknown,
Each one a story, where seeds might be sown.
But I saw only you, at the heart of it all,
And in that moment, I began to fall.

Should we walk together or wander alone?
Would love be our compass, or leave us disowned?
The future was split, like a fork in the road,
And the weight of the choice was a silent load.

You said love is a journey, not a place to stay,
But how could I know which path to obey?
For every step forward might tear us apart,
Yet every backward glance only tugged at my heart.

I lingered too long at the crossroad's divide,
Fearing the answer, too unsure to decide.
But love isn't waiting, it presses ahead,
And we can't stay frozen in the words left unsaid.

So I took your hand, and we made our own way,
Through the winding, the broken, the night and the day.
For love is a crossroad, a choice and a quest,
And I choose you, now and forever, no less.
