I Was Once Stupid When You Came, I Felt Different

I was once foolish, reckless, blind,
Lost in circles, trapped in my mind.
Stumbling through days without a care,
Thinking I was whole, unaware.

Then you walked in, gentle, kind,
A quiet shift, a subtle bind.
In every word, in every glance,
You gave my heart a second chance.

Suddenly, I felt things change,
Emotions raw, yet warm and strange.
You showed me colors I couldn't see,
Pulled the wisdom out of me.

I laughed at myself, the things I thought,
The careless fights, the battles fought.
For in your light, I saw my flaws,
The way love heals, the way it draws.

I was once stupid, careless, free,
But in your gaze, I found clarity.
And now I walk a path refined—
Different, whole, with you in mind.
