In the golden haze of a summer daze,
The world feels like a dream, where time slips away.
Sunlight drips from the sky like honey,
Turning everything warm, turning everything sunny.
The breeze whispers secrets through the leaves of the trees,
And laughter floats freely on the back of the breeze.
The air is thick with the scent of sweet grass,
As moments stretch long and forever seems to last.
Bare feet on warm sand, the ocean's soft roar,
Chasing the waves back and forth on the shore.
Skin kissed by the sun, hearts light as the sky,
We live for the moment, with no reason why.
In the quiet of noon, the world takes a nap,
And we find our peace in the simplest of laps.
The heat slows the hours, makes everything slow,
Like we're swimming in time, with nowhere to go.
As the sun sinks low, painting skies in red,
We gather by fires, where stories are said.
The stars wink above in the velvet twilight,
And summer feels endless, stretching far into night.
In this summer daze, we lose track of time,
Of worries and clocks, of reason and rhyme.
For in these warm days, where the heart feels free,
There's a magic that whispers, "Just let it be."
