Some Kind of Disaster

I'm a storm in the making, a wreck in the rain,
A beautiful chaos, tangled in pain.
With hands that reach out, but never quite hold,
I'm a story untold, too wild, too bold.

I'm some kind of disaster, you said with a smile,
But still, you stayed with me, for a little while.
Through broken-down moments and shattered hopes,
We clung to the edges, learning to cope.

The fires I sparked, the waves I stirred,
Left you breathless, left us blurred.
Yet you saw the light in the cracks of my heart,
Even as everything fell apart.

I'm a hurricane spinning, an earthquake's roar,
But you found the calm in the eye of my war.
Though I was some kind of disaster, untamed,
You stayed through the wreckage, never ashamed.

But even disasters leave scars on the land,
And sometimes love slips through our hands.
Still, I remember the way that you cared,
For even in chaos, something rare was shared.
