The door swings open with a gentle chime,
As I step into this moment, outside of time.
The hum of voices, low and sweet,
Mixes with the sound of shuffling feet.
Espresso machines hiss, a rhythm in the air,
Foam swirls and dances without a care.
Cups clink softly, a soothing refrain,
In this cozy corner, I escape the rain.
Pages turning, laptops hum,
A quiet soundtrack where the world feels numb.
Here, we're strangers, lost in thought,
But bound by the warmth that coffee brought.
The barista hums a song I can't place,
But in this space, there's no need to race.
The music fades, but the feeling stays,
Like the lingering scent of roasted haze.
In every sip, there's comfort found,
In every sound, a world unbound.
A coffee shop soundtrack, soft and light,
Where the noise of life is out of sight.
I sit, I watch, I breathe it in—
This simple joy, beneath my skin.
Here, time slows down, the world retracts,
Lost in the music of these quiet acts.
