A Web Developer's Love Poetry

In a world of pixels, grids, and design,
I build the framework, each element aligned.
But in matters of the heart, there's no CSS rule,
No responsive layout that makes me look cool.

I style my code, make sure it's clean,
But love's a language I've yet to glean.
No HTML tag for the way you make me feel,
No <div> can capture a connection so real.

You're the JavaScript that makes my heart race,
Animating my thoughts in the sweetest embrace.
Each smile, an event that triggers delight,
You're the .hover effect in the middle of night.

I debug my feelings, try to sort them out,
But love's not a function that leaves no doubt.
You're the variable that's always in scope,
The <meta> of dreams, my future, my hope.

I'll build you a site, with all that I know,
But love's not something you hardcode or show.
It's fluid, adaptive, like a flexible grid,
It's found in the spaces, in words left unsaid.

And though I can't render each thought in clear view,
I'll design my affection in all that I do.
For love isn't static; it's dynamic, it grows,
Like a well-crafted page where the beauty just flows.

So here in this life, I'll code and I'll dream,
With you by my side, we're the ultimate team.
In this web of existence, with you I'll create,
A love that's responsive, forever first-rate.
