Star Gazing

Under the canvas of a velvet night,
We lie side by side, bathed in silver light.
The world fades away, lost in the glow,
As constellations weave tales only we know.

The stars, like whispers, flicker and dance,
Inviting our dreams to take a chance.
Each twinkle a promise, a wish in disguise,
A reminder that magic exists in the skies.

I point to Orion, to Cassiopeia's throne,
You laugh as you trace the paths we've outgrown.
In the cool, gentle breeze, time seems to stand still,
As we share our secrets, our hopes, and our will.

With every star shining, our fears drift away,
In this moment of wonder, we're free to just sway.
The universe cradles our hearts in its palm,
In the midst of chaos, we find our calm.

We dream of the future, of worlds yet unseen,
Of journeys we'll take, and all that could be.
With each shooting star, we catch fleeting light,
In the endless expanse of the deep, starry night.

So let's linger a while, let our hearts take flight,
In this sanctuary where darkness meets light.
For in the embrace of the cosmos, we find,
That star gazing together, is a love intertwined
