Something's Gotta Give

I'm walking a tightrope, stretched thin in the air,
With the weight of the world pulling from everywhere.
Each step feels fragile, each breath feels tight,
I'm holding it together, but I'm losing the fight.

The pressures are building, like waves in a storm,
And I'm caught in the current, trying to stay warm.
I've given my all, I've bent till I break,
But how much more can this heart take?

Something's gotta give, something's gotta bend,
I can't keep pretending I'm strong till the end.
The cracks are now showing, the walls wearing thin,
And the battles I'm fighting, I'm losing within.

But maybe in breaking, there's a lesson to find,
That sometimes the letting go can free up the mind.
That strength isn't holding on, at all costs and might,
But knowing when to surrender, when to step out of the fight.

Maybe something's gotta give, so something can grow,
Maybe in the release, a new path will show.
For holding too tightly keeps life from its flow,
And in making some space, we allow love to glow.

So here I stand, not afraid to fall,
Something's gotta give—maybe after all,
It's not about holding, or winning the race,
But finding the courage in letting go with grace.
