Playing Fiction

In a world spun from dreams, where the wild stories roam,
I play the part of wanderer, far away from home.
With pages like portals, each line a new thrill,
I dive into the fiction, where imagination can spill.

I'm the hero, the villain, the lost and the found,
In landscapes of wonder, where reality's unbound.
I dance with the dragons, I sail the high seas,
In the arms of adventure, I'm finally at ease.

With ink as my armor and words as my sword,
I battle the silence, my spirit restored.
The plot thickens gently, each twist takes its place,
As I lose myself fully in this vivid embrace.

Yet outside the pages, the world waits in gray,
The mundane, the ordinary, pulling me away.
But in my heart, I carry the magic I've known,
For fiction's a refuge, a place to call home.

So let me play on, in this realm I create,
Where time bends and breaks, and dreams never wait.
For in every tale woven, in every character drawn,
I find pieces of myself, and the light of the dawn.

I'll hold tight to the stories that let my soul fly,
In the theater of fiction, where limits can die.
For life is a canvas, and I'm the artist within,
Painting my journey with the courage to begin.

So here's to the tales that ignite every spark,
To the worlds yet uncharted, to the light in the dark.
For as long as I'm breathing, I'll keep playing my part,
In the endless adventure that unfolds in my heart.
