"Hey!" I run after Grandmaster.
He stops, then turns around. I bow quickly, then stand up straight.
"I climbed the trees like you told me to," I tell him all excited and shit.
He bows with a satisfied grin. It makes me proud.
Ayyye, ayyeee.
"Climb ten more," he laughs.
My smile drops; my eyes close some. I squint at him, but relax my face to avoid being scolded for disrespect or disobedience.
Mannn...
He smirks and turns around. I start mumblin to myself.
"The hell I need to climb so many trees for anyways-"
"Ask Koi!"
It surprises me. I open my mouth to ask how did he hear me, but give up before words can even come out.
Your ears are insane.
I sigh, but comply.
"Alright, I'll get it done Grandmaster Awka-"
"Hmp, great job today. I changed my mind; climb your trees first thing in the morning," Grandmaster says as he walks by part of the large pound.
I bow with a huge grin on my face, even though his back is to me.
"Thank you!" I wave.
Without even turning around he waves back.
That impressed me. He's very impressive. Koi impresses me too. I'm grateful for them... I'm grateful for this.
My grin stays as I go back to the dojo porch.
"See you tomorrow!" He says.
My head whips around to him. His back is still towards me as he walks away.
Tomorrow? He doesn't really stay back on main camp over night since I've been here at this dojo in the trees... should I ask him can I see Koi?
"Nah... don't nag him," I say to myself.
Koi
My phone dings as soon as I pick it up to text Marshal. I press my tongue to the inside of my cheek when I see that it's him.
I missed you.
From Marsh:
"Bruh 🌳!?"
My mouth forms an O.
"Hahahaaa," I laugh, but stop when I think of having to tell him the full truth.
Damn, he climbin them mufuckin trees.
To Marsh:
"What you doing?" I send, avoiding his question and emoji.
He hits back quick as hell.
From Marsh:
"So you keepin secrets bout trees?"
I smile.
To Marsh:
"Tell me what you doin and I'll think about telling you," I play wit him.
He messages back lighting fast. I swing my towel over my shoulder and leave my room.
From Marsh:
"Tell me what you doin, then I'll tell you what I'm doin," he says.
I laugh at our games, blushin for real as I slide my door closed behind me.
To Marsh:
"I'mmmm finna shower."
From Marsh:
"Long day?"
To Marsh:
"Yea..."
From Marsh:
"Hmm, I hope you're doing well fr. I miss you. Wanna have a longer day?"
To Marsh:
"'Stop playin," I shoot back.
From Marsh:
"Only thing I'm tryna play wit is you my guy," he sends.
I start laughing dumb loud. I lick my lips and clinch my jaw, feeling freak... and needy.

I look around me to make sure I'm alone in the halls.
To Marsh:
"Hey hornball, I'm doing great. I miss you more and I love you. I want you to play wit me as long as you can..."
I stare at the message I just typed as tingles spread over my skin. I contemplate if I should send it or not; I do, then lock my phone. I go into the shower room, and straight to my locker.
I wish I could see you, too. Not even on no freaky shit. Maybe I'll finally be able to sleep if I was fast asleep with you.
Ooooo okay, okayyy! Ahhhh!!!!! I split the chapter up because I have been INDECISIVE! I'm so happyyyy. Sorry for taking sooo long to update. I'm doing my best although I can and will be doing better in the future. MUCH LOVEEEE!
