I open the pharmacy door, then slip into the room I'm supposed to get checked up in.

Woah, whatchu doin here?

I bow immediately, then slowly lift up.

"Hey Grandmaster, where's doc?" I ask him.

Something feels off, not bad, but off.

"Hello, I'm doing everyone's check up tonight and tomorrow," he says while keeping his eyes on the clipboard he's holding.

I hope he didn't tell Marshal what I know about him. I've known for a while, but they don't know that. I don't want Marsh to be upset with me, especially if I can't be around him whenever I want. I have enough on my plate right now. Marsh being happy and well is a huge bonus for me. It picks me up.

Grandmaster looks up from his clipboard; I'm sure my medical info is on it.

"Oh, why? Did sumn happen?" I snap out of my thoughts and ask him why's he here instead of our usual doctor.

"Undress and stand here," Grandmaster ignores my words.

It's rare for him to step in like this. I don't know if I should expect a lesson or some kinda news... both?

I take my shirt and pants off, fold them, then follow his directions. He starts kneading his fingers into my most recent injury on my stomach.

I'm glad it's healthy. What happened between me and Marshal in my car lengthened the healing process... that's the last time we had sex actually.

The memory makes my jaw clinch, not in a good way at all.

He was so upset... I was too. I just-

Grandmaster pulls out a small flash light and stretches the scar.

It's aging well from what I can tell. This is probably my thousandth cut, but it was very deep.

"You shoved your hands in there, now you wanna be so gentle," I say, being snarky.

"I'll do it again... if it's meant," he says.

"That's brash... if I'm allowed to say so," I respond, copying his sentence structure.

He keeps pressing and poking me over and over with his hands and different tools. A sigh pushes from my lips as he presses into my body.

"You made me stitch myself up," I remind him.

"That wasn't the first time. I'll make Marshal do the same when it's time," he says.

His words shut me up. I don't respond, knowing that he's right.

Marshal will benefit. There's still things he doesn't know about his destiny.
