Hoseok titled his head and looked at the younger male with a smirky smile... "What? Did you not like the food? I thought to give you a good feast before the divorce gets finalised... how ungrateful of you Mr. Jung... Also, you have to be healthy to see your father die, right?"
Taehyung took a deep breath to calm himself down before throwing a kick at Hoseok which landed directly on his stomach making him growl in pain... Taehyung reluctantly went back to the table and started eating his meal and this time intentionally moaning at the taste "Thank you so much for the feast Mr. Jung can't wait to get rid of you "
Hoseok stared at the younger male with a blank expression... There was a mask on his emotions which Taehyung can easily detect... When Hoseok turned around to put the dishes in the sink... The younger male couldn't help but ask "What went wrong between us, Seok... Did you never for once love me?"
Hoseok's hands stooped and the hold around the dish tightened. "No" his voice was colder than usual, even though Taehyung is now used to it... still he can't deny the fact that it hurts... It hurts like hell "Well good thing after this Sunday you won't ever have to see this annoying face of mine"
His words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of shattered illusions and broken promises... Hoseok's back remained turned, his posture rigid and unmoving as he grappled with his own demons... Taehyung could sense the turmoil raging beneath the surface, the conflict between emotions...
But even as the walls between them crumbled, Taehyung couldn't help but cling to a sliver of hope, a flicker of longing that refused to be extinguished... Deep down, he still yearned for the connection they once shared, the warmth of Hoseok's touch, and the promise of a love that transcended words... "What do you mean?" Hoseok's words brought him from his wishful thinking
Taehyung shrugged "I am planning to go somewhere far from Seoul, maybe far from Korea who knows" Hoseok clenched his fist but maintained a poker face "And what about your father?"
Taehyung remained silent for a while... "I will give him my final goodbyes... Also, Yoongi hyung has promised that he will take care of him as long as he could..." That certainly piqued Hoseok's interest when the older male turned around and took long steps towards his husband... Hoseok held the younger male's jaw and made Taehyung look at him with utter confusion "You really thought you could run away and I will let you? tsk tsk tsk... Too bad darling... like said before... You, Cannot. Escape. From. Me. I am your final destination... Your dead end"
Taehyung rolled his eyes and pushed him hard before looking dead into the older's eyes "Want another kick?" Saying that he turned around to leave but before he could Hoseok grabbed his wrist and pulled him closer making their chest collide "Aren't you having too much guts? " This statement certainly made the younger male chuckled "When you have nothing to lose even fear also jumps out of the window... You have already killed my child. What else can you do, kill me? Do it? I am neither scared of death nor sacred of you"
Taehyung's words hung in the air like a haunting echo, each syllable tinged with a mixture of defiance and despair... The weight of their shared grief, the loss of their child, bore down upon them like a heavy burden, threatening to suffocate whatever remained of their fractured relationship...
As Hoseok's grip tightened around Taehyung's wrist, the air crackled with tension, the space between them charged with unresolved emotions and unspoken truths... In the depths of Hoseok's eyes, the younger male could see the flicker of anger and pain, the raw edges of a wounded soul lashing out in desperation... Without saying a word, Hoseok let go of Taehyung... He started walking towards the bedroom before he said "You are mine, Taehyung... Only I have the right to hurt you... Not even you are allowed to do that to yourself" without waiting for the younger male's reply, Hoseok disappeared behind the closed door...
