*Flashback*
The atmosphere in the dimly lit room was alive with the vibrant energy of youthful revelry. Medical students, weary from their demanding schedules, had gathered to unwind and let loose for a night of respite from the rigors of their studies... Music pulsed through the air, mingling with laughter and the clinking of glasses...
Among the crowd, Yoongi stood at the edge of the room, nursing a drink in hand... His expression was somber, his thoughts clouded by the recent departure of Taehyung, his longtime crush, from the medical college... Taehyung's sudden absence had left a void in Yoongi's heart, casting a shadow over his usually composed demeanor...
Lost in his melancholy, Yoongi's gaze wandered across the room and landed on a figure bathed in the soft glow of the ambient light... It was Jeon Jungkook, another junior whose effortless charm and magnetic presence had always drawn admiration from their peers...
As Yoongi watched, he noticed that the younger male looked sad and lost too... there was a drink in front of him which was left untouched...
"Hey you okay?" Yoongi asked, taking a seat next to the younger male while taking a generous sip of the alcohol... The younger male sighed and shook his head "I am alright... " Saying so he went back to his deep thoughts "You are missing Tae bear right?"
Jungkook's big eyes turned glossy, he gave a small nod while trying his best not to cry... Taehyung was his only friend in the college... As Jungkook was younger than all of his fellow classmates, they used to pick on him a lot... He used to get bullied on a regular basis but it all stop when Taehyung brought the hockey stick to beat the hell out of those students... That day, Taehyung not only got 4 weeks of suspension, which was reduced to 1 week after Jungkook gave the statement, but also a really adorable bunny best friend who he used to adore a lot... Jungkook was too much depended on Taehyung that now when the raven haired male is gone... The bunny doesn't even know what to do
The older male gently caressed his cheek before wiping his tears away "I understand... I too miss him a lot... It's really hard to find a comic character like him" the older male sadly chuckled at his own words while remembering his favourite goofball, the man he is in love with from the day they crossed their path
Jungkook's eyes grew wide at the sudden touch and lips slightly parted in surprise, Yoongi has never initiated a direct conversation with him... It has always been the time when Taehyung was present... The senior only greeted him when he was with his best friend... "I... I don't want to believe these rumors... people are saying TaeTae got married... He promised me I will be his best man or he won't marry... so, I guess they are just lying"
Yoongi smiled sadly "Trust me no one wants these rumours to be a lie as much as i want... I... I miss him... His boxy smile... His innocent doe eyes and more than anything his cute angry threats... I miss his entire existence "
As Yoongi spoke, his voice carried a weight of longing and nostalgia, echoing the sentiments of many who had cherished Taehyung's presence in their lives... Jungkook listened intently, his heart heavy with the absence of his dear friend...
"I know it's hard to accept these rumors..." Yoongi continued, his tone gentle yet tinged with sorrow... "But sometimes, life takes unexpected turns, and we find ourselves grappling with the uncertainties it brings..."
Jungkook nodded slowly, his mind racing with memories of the moments he had shared with Taehyung... the laughter, the camaraderie, and the support that had defined their friendship... He couldn't fathom a reality where Taehyung was no longer a part of their lives...
"I keep replaying our memories in my mind..." Jungkook admitted, his voice barely above a whisper... "I can't help but wonder if I'll ever find a friend like him again..."
