Luz's POV
They all looked at us and looked slightly intimidated by how we did everything in sync, but figured that since they had larger numbers they'd win by a mile
....they were so wrong...
Zander started it off by throwing a punch at my head, which I dodged under and grabbed his arm, kicking him in the chest than throwing him at the ground, a satisfying crack coming from his arm. Then the others charged in, charging at Zanders group. Even though we didn't use magic, we were still winning
Willow slid under one guy, using her elbows to push herself up and kick the other guy in the head before turning around and elbowing the first guy in the neck
Amity was going absolutely rabid on Sarah. She punched her in the eye before uppercuting her jaw the grabbing her by her ponytail and slamming her onto the ground
Hunter's moves were quick and calculated, which made sense as he was the most trained in fist fighting and close combat. He swiftly punched one guy in the gut before sweeping another guy's feet from under him who attempted to punch him in the head before kicking him in the head and turning back to the first guy, dodging under his punch and kicking him over the railings
Boscha was bashing out some guys skull as she hooked her legs around his waist before jumping off and landing on another guy, climbing on top of him and punching him repeatedly
Gus, who was surprisingly quite filled with rage, was continuously slamming one guy's head into the floor
There were 2 guys, and before they could turn to help either of their buddies, I moved towards them quicker than they could see, throwing a mid-air roundhouse kick to his ugly face, breaking his nose and knocking him back almost 10 feet and turning to the last guy, using one of my special moves by throwing lighting fast punches at him before turning around and crossing my arms, making him break through the railings of the mall and fly over the edge
"Nice work guys" I turned to the others, seeing a pile of unconscious guys and 1 unconscious girl (who now had a giant bald patch)
"Oh man, this just reminds me of the showdown with Bitchdalia" Amity stretched her back, seeming to be quite satisfied with her work
"It does! Too bad we lost our ice cream because of those jerks" Gus sulked, kicking one guy as Hunter pat his back
"Hey, should we be worried about the crowd gathering?" Willow asked, pointing at the people around us
"I mean, as long as they don't call the cops then probably no-" I started
"HEY! YOU FIVE!" A deep voice called as a whistle was blown
"Ah shit, run" I cursed as we all took off, barging through the crowd
Since we were all experienced runners due to running around that far Island and Odalia's ship, we easily stuck together and navigated through the crowd, me leading
Once we escaped the crowd, I jumped onto the railings of the escalators, sliding down it as the others followed, their movements perfect
"This would be so much easier if we could use magic!" Gus complained, running up next to me
"Just imagine you're being chased by a really ugly, fat, obese man who just called you a snack" I exclaimed, seeing both Amity, Gus, Boscha, Willow and Hunter speed up incredibly "That's better" I muttered before letting them overtake me
"Keep on running forward, I'll catch up soon!" I yelled, before turning around, pointing a middle finger at the cops before subtly sending an electric current through the ground, making them jump up in shock (literally) and stop in their tracks "Nice"
I continued running, speeding up my pace as I jumped over a random dude who tried to stop me, kicking him into the face purposely and knocking him out cold before using my enhanced speed to catch up to the others
"Took you long enough, Noceda!" Hunter yelled
"Yeah, yeah shut it, blondie" I responded before grabbing them all by the shoulder and into a group hug once we were out of sight then teleporting them away
I landed us all in what I assumed was an alley, more of accidental than purposely as I didn't have enough time to concentrate on the location, but at least we were out of sight
I dropped to the ground, sitting and leaning back on the wall "Ah, fuck, I really gotta stop overusing my powers"
"No shit Sherlock, you just got em" Boscha exclaimed, also taking a seat, slightly out of breath. Willow whacked her as Amity leaned down in front of me, checking for injuries
"I'm fine, Ams. Don't worry. Just tired" I reassured her as she gave me a kiss on the forehead before sitting down next to me
"If you insist" She responded
"How do you guys manage to make me feel single when I'm in a relationship?" Willow questioned
"We're just better like that" I responded, smirking as Boscha and Willow both rolled their eyes
"Hey, uh, sorry to say, but....where are we?" Hunter asked, seeming to be the least out of breath
I stood, walking over to him and Gus who were looking outside "Probably just in some alley. I'll get us back to the house soon enough....oh shit"
I looked outside the not so alley and into not the city by the vast empty land that was filled with yellow grass, a few trees and even fewer ponds of water. It was night due to the time difference
"I...don't think this is the city...of an alley" Gus spoke up
"ARE WE IN AFRICA?!" I yelled taking in the area
"Africa? What's that? There's more land on earth?" Amity asked, standing up and walking over to us
"We're basically on a different piece of land. There's 7 different large ones called continents. Each one is at least 10, maybe even 100 times the size of the Isles. And were currently stranded in the middle of the largest one...Halfway across the world" I groaned, leaning against the wall
"How the fuck did you teleport us halfway across the world?" Boscha asked looking outside the cave which seemed to be quite empty
"How am I supposed to know? I'm still new to this!"
Boscha rubbed her temples in irritation
"Alright, how about we all calm down and just assess the situation. Luz, can't you just teleport us back?" Amity spoke up
"Nah. Not yet at least. That teleport took a lot out of me and if I don't wait until I'm at least fully recovered, I could die of exhaustion if I try it again"
"Welp, on the bright side, more exploring!" Gus cheered
"That's...a terrible idea. There's a bunch of animals here that are about as dangerous as wild demons. We have lions, elephants, snakes, giraffes-"
"GIRAFFES?!" They all yelled in sync before scuffling further inside the cave
"Oh yeah...Eda said something about you guys sending those guys to earth because of how creepy those were...they seem pretty passive though. If anything, they're the least aggressive animal here"
"L-least aggressive? Then how aggressive are the others?" Gus stuttered, seeming incredibly scared
"I'm sure we can take them down. For now, let's just rest while we figure out a game plan. Who's gonna be on first watch?"

Chapter 26 completed! Think of this as an apology for not giving any updates recently. I've realized that I have so much free time on my hands (maybe a bit too much) and that I should spend it on something other than brainrot on Tiktok
