So my friend asked me to describe Francis and Arthur's relationship. So this is how I did it:
Me: Okay, now imagine an Englishman who is cranky a lot, pretty much lost all his children, loves tea a lot, and pretty much yells at people.
Friend: Okay.
Me: Now think of a Frenchman who loves whine, loves his hair, might seem vain even though he's not really, and is just a lover, but doesn't force it on people.
Friend: Okay.
Me: Now imagine that the Englishman and the Frenchman ague a lot, tease each other any chance they get, probably tried to kill the other at least once, and just seems like they hate each other.
Friend: Why do people ship them than?
Me: BUT, if you hurt the Frenchman's wizard, he will come after you and will hurt you. If you hurt the Englishman's Francy-Pants he will curse you and kill you in the way that is worst. They can't stand to see the other hurts, and probably after an argument they look at each other while holding hands and mumbles a very angry 'I love you.' That's pretty much the ship.
Friend: Aw.
Me: Yep. It's cute.
