Ivan had started off having a wonderful dream. He was in a field of sunflowers, watching a little Dika run around happily. He was sitting down, not having a care in the world. He had a large smile on his face has he watched her play.
Yet the sky became dark all of a sudden. He looked up to see a large bird with a white head flying around. He saw it was aiming to take his daughter.
"Di-" the Russian started to yell, yet he was gagged by a faceless man. More people came and held the Russian has he tried to get to his daughter.
He watched helpless has the bird grabbed the little girl and carried her off. Her screams of protest filled the air, but they were soon gone.
He was left in the field all by himself. He looked up and noticed that the only flower left alive was a small sunflower where Dika had been standing.
Ivan woke up quickly, panting. He sighed, hugging himself tightly. He was glad it had just been a dream. He quickly got up and walked to Dika's room, looking at the sleeping girl. He crawled into the bed net to her, hugging her tightly. He was glad his little sunflower was here and not with the bird.
