Once the wedding is over, they all stood for photographs and after a long round of photograph sessions Meera said,

Meera: Shivani!! Before the sunset let's do the remaining rituals.

Shivani: Ok Aunty.

They all went towards the main door and Meera took the aarti and welcomed the new bride into the house.

As they entered Meera took Shivani and Rudra took the pooja room and made her lit the diya. She then hugged Shivani and said,

Meera: Welcome home my child. Be happy always.

Shivani then took her blessings and they went to the living room where everyone is waiting for them.

Mithra: Its late. Let's sleep. Because we still have reception tomorrow.

Everyone nodded and Rudra said,

Rudra: Shivani let's go!!

Mithra chucked and said,

Mithra: Unfortunately Rudra she can't come with you.

Rudra: What does that mean Aunty!! She is my wife.

Mithra: Yes, but she will not stay with you tonight.

Meera: She is right! Everything needs to follow a ritual. So you go and sleep. Shivani will stay with me.

Rudra looked at them with a bewildered expression and Shivani smiled at him. He glared at all of them and left. Everyone bursted out laughing after he left.

Meera: Anna! Lakshmi ji!! You are also very tired. Please take some rest.

They nodded their head and the day ended happily for all of them.

The next day,

Shivani woke up and came downstairs where she saw Meera and Mithra talking to each other. She went towards them.

Shivani: Good morning aunty.

Meera: Good morning ma!!

Shivani: You could have woken me up aunty?

Meera: You were very tired due to all the rituals yesterday. So I didn't wake you up.

Their talk was disturbed by Rudra who is just coming downstairs catching his head. He saw the trio and went towards them.

Mithra: Did you sleep well Rudra?

She asked sarcastically and Rudra glared at her. He then turned towards Meera and said,

Rudra: Ma! Can you please give me a cup of coffee. My head is bursting.

Shivani: I will get you!!

Saying so she stood up. Rudra felt happy as he thought he can talk to his wife in the kitchen. But his bubble bursted when Meera said,

Meera: Shivani!! Today is your first day here. So you have cook some sweet first. I will get him coffee.

Shivani: But I helped you in the kitchen earlier also when I stayed here.

Mithra: You did it before but you were not Mrs. Rudra then. Your first dish after marriage should be a sweet.
