Chapter - 52

The night passed in worry and fear for everyone where they were praying that Shivani should be fine. As if God heard them, no complications occured during the night. The doctors are currently checking checking Shivani inside. After sometime they came out and said,

Doctor: She is fine now Sir! But it takes a couple of hours for her to gain conscious. Please take of her for about 10 days. I will give you the diet that she should follow. Feed her something light. Let's start with some milk firstly. You can see her when she wakes up.

Ishaan: Thank you doctor!!!

Everyone sighed in relief once the doctor left. Ishaan went to Rudra and said,

Ishaan: Rudra!! Go and freshen up and come. You have not moved an inch from here since yesterday.

Rudra: No I won't go. I have to see her. Only then I will go.

Ishaan: See!! it takes some time for her to wake up. Are you going to scare her with this blood on your shirt when she gets up. Atleast change and come. I have kept some clothes in the room.

Rudra reluctantly nodded and left. He went to the room and changed into the shirt that Ishaan has placed. He took the shirt that he was previously wearing and sat on the couch. He held it tightly in his hand and brought it close to his heart and that's it. He broke down into tears. The tears that he kept within him from yesterday has stared flowing now. All his thoughts went to how he praised her for liking like a sunflower and how he brought her to the hospital when she is covered in blood.

Rudra: I am sorry. I am so sorry Shivani!!! I failed to protect you. I was right there but could not reach to protect you. I would have never been able to live if something happened to you. I am sorry for being a failure.

He cried for sometime and when his tears subsided. He opened his eyes filled with rage.

Thinking so he took his phone and called David.

Rudra: David!! I want every detail about Archana!! Every minute detail of her businesses, contacts, assets everything. Get them. And I will not tolerate any disaster like yesterday where you failed miserably.

He said in a furious tone that made David scared.

He cut the call and sat down holding his watch on the other hand that she has gifted. After sometime, he started to go to the ICU.
