Chapter - 58

The preparations for the marriage have started and within four days all the preparations were completed. Today they decided to complete the shopping for the jewels and have a small mehendi and Sangeet in the evening. The following day would be haldi and the next day is the wedding. The other day would be the reception. Shivani's parents have gone to Chennai to invite their very close friends and would be coming by evening.

Mithra is roaming in the living room to and fro and waiting for everyone to come down. Vijay and Meera who are sitting there saw her and called her,

Vijay: Mithra, Are you ok. You can sit. They won't come fast if you keep roaming like this.

Mithra: These kids don't have time sense only. Look how late they are to go to shopping. If it is for office they always go on time. I am tired of them.

Vijay and Meera laughed at her comment and Meera said,

Meera: Mithra, You have not changed your love for shopping all these years.

Vijay: Haha you are right Meera. Do you remember when Rudra and Ishaan were young she would always pick them from school in the middle of their classes and take them to shopping.

Meera: Yes!! I was very scared once when the principal called me and said Rudra was not in classes. Only to find out that these 3 have shopped literally everything and came home by evening and lied conveniently that they were coming from school and hid all the purchases.

Vijay: Yes!! and I had to unfortunately become the stricter one to not to let them fall into my wife's craziness. Only I know how I have been with this woman all these years.

He said sighing and saw Mithra who is glaring at both of them with her hands on the hips.

Mithra: How dare you brother and sister combo? Now you have started to gossip about me infront of me only.

She said and sat on the couch looking at them.

Vijay: Arey!! We are not gossiping my love. We are stating facts about you.

Mithra: Shutup!! You only changed both of them to hardcore businessmen like you. It is all your fault.

She started scolding Vijay just then Rudra, Shivani, Ishaan and Nithya were coming downstairs talking and laughing loudly. The trio looked at them with adoration and Meera has mentally taken the evil eye from them.

Ishaan: Shall we go everyone?

Mithra: Yes!!

Soon all of them settled in the cars and went to the jewels store. The manager invited them and said,

Manager: Sir, you could have told us to bring the things home.

Mithra: It's ok manager. Anyways we want some memory of shopping for Rudra's marriage. Let's not wait here. Common everyone.

Saying so she immediately started going inside. Everyone followed her. But Nithya is looking at her with a confused face. Vijay came to her and said,

Vijay: Nithya ma!! You have a lot of faces to see about your aunty. She is crazy for shopping and it's been long since she came for it. So she is very excited. Let's go inside.

They also went inside. Mithra showed a necklace set to Shivani. Shivani saw it and it looked very heavy and expensive. So she said,

Shivani: Hmm. No aunty. I mean I will take something simple.
