Chapter 32

Asad

"Excuse me ma'am what floor and room number is Jade Stone in?"

She typed a few things on her keyboard before responding.

"She's on the second floor Labor and delivery and she's in room one ten."

"Thankyou."

I jogged down the hall and got on the elevator going to the second floor.

As soon as I got off I heard screaming and I knew it was Jade.

I got to room one ten an opened the door.

"One more push Jade you got this." One of the nurses said.

"Excuse me sir who are you?"

"The baby's father." I moved her out the way.

"Asad!" Jade yelled once she saw me.

I ran to her side and she was crying and breathing heavy.

"One more push Jade." The doctor instructed her.

I held her hand and she squeezed it giving them one more push.

We heard Jace crying and my eyes started to water when they held him up.

"Would you like to cut the umbilical cord?" The doctor asked smiling.

I shook my head yeah and grabbed the scissors cutting it.

They placed Jace on Jade's chest and she started crying as she kissed on his forehead.

"We finally did it." She whispered.

She looked up at me as I bent down and kissed the side of her forehead.

"I'm proud of you thankyou for blessing me with another Son Jade for real."

She smiled then started coughing.

The machine that was monitoring her heartbeat started beeping really fast.

I looked down at Jade and she was getting sweaty and breathing hard.

"Get us some oxygen!" A nurse yelled.

"A-Asad I can't b-breath." She tried to say in between breaths.

I felt my adrenaline start to rush.

"Whats wrong!?"

They grabbed Jace off Jade's chest and put an oxygen mask over her face.

She looked up at me and kept trying to say something.

"Mil-."

"Her heartbeat is going down rapidly we need the defibrillators."

It was so much chaos going on the room with all the Nurses talking and sprinting to get the things they needed.
