Jaida:

What the hell was I doing on the floor of Bella's room? Did I sleep here? Slowly getting up and stretching my arm and legs I looked over to see Bella still sound asleep. I took a deep breath as the memories of yesterday flooded my mind. Bella had nightmares courtesy of Ronnie and I stayed with her, which would explain why I'm on the ground. Wondering what time it was I opened her door and immediately tripped over something landing on my hands and knees and heard a grunt.

I turned to see Cameron asleep in front the door and I sighed softly, he was up late with me as well. The only reason the door was closed was because Bella screamed and cried saying if the door was opening anyone could walk in and hit her. Last night was not something I wanted to go through again.

Crawling over to him, I smacked him on his cheek lightly, "Cam?? Get up!" He groaned in response and rolled over towards the wall opposite us. As much as I didn't want to wake him, I'm sure he wasn't comfortable lying on the hard floor, "Seriously, wake up!" I smack his cheek again and shake his body. He just moaned and rolled over.

Sighing heavily I push myself off the ground and head into the kitchen only to groan in annoyance at the mess left all over the counters. 'This is what happens when you have a hyper two year old' I thought to myself, grimacing at the chocolate syrup puddles and melted ice cream stains on the counter. As much as I wanted to clean this up, there was something I needed to do, so scribbling a note for Cam in case he woke up, I headed over to Maggie's.

Knocking on Maggie's door had me feeling weird, like a stranger to them and Earl's words from yesterday floated back to my mind, contemplating just heading back to my apartment the door swings open and Earl's head pops out.

"Jaida! What are you doing here and what happened to you?" I frowned at questions then I realized I must have looked quite a sight with a bruised cheek, along with the rest of my disheveled appearance from sleeping on the floor.

"Is Ronnie here?" I asked as nicely as I could trying not to lose my temper as her actions from last night came up and my cheek started throbbing at the thoughts.

He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion before answering, "Yes she's asleep in the guest room, come on in you can wait for her to get up which should be soon, Maggie's in the kitchen, I'm sure she'll be pleased to see you."

"I think I'll go wake her now, I'm not gonna take long," I say as sweetly as possible, walking past him and into the kitchen where I see Maggie making pancakes, "Hey Mags!"

"Jai, sweetie! How are you?" She turns around and her eyes wide with happiness and surprise which then narrows to concern, "What the hell happened to your cheek?"

"You're about to find out," I mumbled softly before walking off into the guest room and standing next to the bed looking at Ronnie, who seemed to have a smug expression on her face. Only fueling my anger I took a deep breath, before raising my hand and smacking her across her face.

She flied off the bed and jumped up, narrowing her eyes at me, "What the hell Jaida." She said, sneering my name.

Giving her a stony expression and in the hardest, colde voice I could muster I started, "You want to start something you can't finish, explain what the hell was wrong with you last night?"

"Girls what's going on?" Earl asks, walking in the room, interrupting us.

"Why don't you ask your little princess Earl. Knocked on my door last night and slapped me across the face. Gave Bella nightmares," I stated as the memories came flashing back to me after the ice cream incident.
