Jaida:
I woke up to the sounds of noises coming from my kitchen, a pounding headache and an empty bed. After Lana left, Liza thought it would be wise to add some stronger alcohol into our little barbecue party. At the time of course I didn't mind, I sure as hell needed it but now not so much. This was the one thing I'm sure everyone in the world hated about drinking. The after effects.
Releasing a groan I dragged myself out of bed and headed straight for the bathroom to clean up. I'm pretty sure there was still people in my house. That was a lot of noise for it to just be Cameron alone. I was right when I walked into the kitchen, in Cam's t-shirt and short pants. Genny and Liza were making breakfast while Cameron and Shane were sitting at the table talking.
"Jai, sweetie!! You're awake!"
I groaned in response and walked straight into Cameron's open arms and planted myself firmly in his lap, "Not so loud," I mumbled, pressing my face into Cameron's neck.
Liza chuckled, "Did someone drink too much last night?" She asked her voice teasing.
Everyone chuckled and Cameron rubbed my back, comfortingly, "You want anything?"
I shook my head, the headache had significantly decreased since I took a shower, "How long were you up?" I asked softly.
"About a hour, I didn't want to wake you. Why?" He answered, turning me so I fit more comfortably on his lap.
"It's just weird waking up without you there."
He tightened his hold, "Sorry."
I smiled softly and kept silent, just listening to the sounds around me. "What should we do today?" I heard Genny ask.
"Jaida and I need to go get Bella, after we're free for the day." I curled into Cameron some more and started drifting off again when his chest rumbled underneath me, made me want to purr.
"Well we should all do something after," Liza commented.
"Jai!"
My eyes snapped open and I stiffened, "What?" I said loud enough, not removing myself from Cameron's hold.
"What should we do today?"
I thought for a moment, we would have Bella with us. I could really have some fun today, "Let's go to the beach." I suggested, raising my head up and shifting so I was facing everyone.
They all got silent, thinking about what I said and I squinted my eyes and looked at everyone, "Where are the twins?"
Shane chuckled, "They left last night, they couldn't spend the night, couldn't find a baby sitter, Earl had all four kids yesterday."
I nodded, "So we're going to the beach?" I glanced out the kitchen window, "It looks like it'll be a good day. I want to just chill today. What do you guys think?"
Shane and Liza glanced at each other before nodding, "Yea we're all for it. Just give us some time to head back home and pack."
I nodded, "Sure, besides Cam and I need to go get Bella. I'm sure she'll enjoy this day in the sun."
Sliding off Cameron, I walked towards Genny, "What's wrong with you? I thought you'd be excited to go to the beach."
She flashed me a bright fake smile and I raised my eyebrow in surprise, "Yea, I'm totally excited to go see the beach and have fun-"
"But?" I said, waiting for her to tell me what's bothering her.
She stared at me wide eyed, "But nothing. I'm excited and nothing's wrong, trust me."
