You and Agent thought, the two of you would be each other's soulmate. You thought that no matter what obstacle you two faced, you two would face it together.

You two got married, and after that....a son was born between the two of you. But just three years after the birth of your son, the two of you, decided to get a divorce.

It was a peaceful divorce. Very amicable and everything that you had and he had was split down the middle. It was hard to let him go, although he was mostly the issue of the divorce.

You never wanted to blame your ex-husband for anything when it came to your marriage. It was his mom. She was very strict and never hid from you that she was going to insert herself in every single thing when it came to your child.

The straw that broke the camels back was that she knew of Genesis, your son's, allergy to coconut oil. She used it all the time on her hair and you specifically said it was not to be worn around your child or she will send him to the ER.

Babysitters were scarce, Agent was the only one there to open the door for his mom before he had to leave the home for work. Right after her arrival, you got a very urgent call from the hospital. Stating that your son had a bad allergic reaction and almost died if he didn't go in, in time.

She never even apologized, and Agent was making you feel bad for blowing up at her like a crazed woman. You were so done with being unheard in your own home and marriage.

You had the proof and texts that this happened and the Judge ruled in your favor. And if the grandma wanted any visitations, she will have to be supervised by your mother or yourself.

Agent tried to apologize on his mother's behalf. But it wasn't him that almost killed their child. It was her, and he was now paying for his mother's actions.

After all of that, Genesis has since grown and was now managing his allergy mostly on his own now that he was 13 and a little bit more responsible.

He was the spitting image of his father and it almost made you cry, because you missed Agent. And although, stubborn, Agent couldn't lie and say he never missed you too.

You rarely saw Agent. Only if it was at a game or something at the school for the child. But the two of you kept a very big distance. More so now that he was engaged to be married.

Genesis was a good boy, but, he raged like his father. It's times where you thought that maybe Agent birthed him, given how he passed down his entire being to this boy. Genesis was very smart and knew tech like the back of his hand.

There was a call from his teacher on a Wednesday afternoon whilst you were at your salon, stating that Genesis got into a fight. You knew it wasn't good, and your assistant had to take over in order for you to go and handle it.

Upon arriving, Agent was already there. He looked up at you from his chair that sat right in front of the principals desk, and right next to him was Genesis. With not a scratch on him.

Agent gave you a look. A disapproving one that meant a lot of things, but you ignored it. You were yet again, late.

" It's nice to have you hear Mrs-

" It's Ms. Y/L/N."

That tugged at Agents heart negatively, at how you were so eager to claim your name. " What is this about? Is Genesis in trouble?"

" Well, since you're both here I can further explain to you that Genesis will be suspended for the next few days."

" Ma'am, you said that he wasn't the aggressor here-
