„Dear Diary,
„Percy is a prick."
"Can't believe he is our brother."
"Must have been switched at birth."
"With who? Another red head family?", Sean looks at Fred.
"For your information, we are not the only red heads that exist. Thank you very much."
"But the only one who has so many idiots."
The twins gasp. "How dare he!?"
I hide my smile behind my parchment, while practicing to draw eyes better. In the morning when every one's owls arrived, I received my new drawing tools from home. I would have more important things to do, like focusing on my homework and studies, but trying them out sounded better to me.
"Jade defend us."
"George what is there to defend?"
Another gasp. "We are not being appreciated George. I think we need to separate us from these bullies."
"Yes Fred. I was thinking exactly the same thing. How could they make fun of another person? That is outrageous."
"Indeed dear brother. Wait, there is Harry. OI BEWARE THE HEIR OF SLYTHERIN IS HERE."
Both of them stand up and walk to the door of the Great Hall, where Harry and his friends are standing. All heads turn. Harry looks pale and tired. Poor boy, can't catch a break. It is dumb enough that many do think, that he is the heir of Slytherin, now he has to deal with the twin's shenanigans as well. Ginny doesn't seem to believe those jokes are funny. She's hardly looking at anyone in her family.
"I feel sorry for her. Can't catch a break in that family," Sean pipes up.
"Oh come on Sean. They aren't that bad."
"You have to say something like this," he laughs: "No but honestly, I wouldn't want to be their only sister, yet alone the youngster out of them. You have one part who takes everything way too serious and the other part hardly takes anything serious at all. Imagine having a problem and deciding to go with it to someone. I'm glad I have Gemma."
Sean looks back at his textbooks and continuous writing. His words holler in my mind. He is right. I put a mental note for myself, to check on Ginny when there is a good moment. It gets quiet in the Great Hall, George and Fred must have left. Soon after, Harry and his friends settle down almost next to us. They whisper to themselves. They always do that.
"Do you know where Louis is?"
"With who might he be. Probably in a corner with Gina." Sean shuts his textbook a bit too aggressive for my liking.
"What's got your knickers in a twist?" I look at him.
"Nothing."
"Meos dios! Just tell me, even a blind person can see that something is wrong."
"It's just" For a moment it looked like he would actually spill what the real problem is. Then he just shakes his head. "Nevermind really. I just don't like when he bails on us because of her."
Sean stands up and gathers his things. The bell has just rung.
"He doesn't bail on us at all. He is allowed to do things outside our group. You could try that too sometimes you know?"
Sean just gives me stern nod and leaves without another word. I sigh. Out of all my friends, Sean is the hardest to read. It is, as if he has an additional wall surrounding him, to keep everyone out. I wonder who hurt him so bad, that he doesn't even let it slip a bit when he is with us.
