**Ziggy.**

"You guys are late!" Rocky stormed right up to me with Monty in toll as I crawled out of the car.
Kaiser just grinned at me before walking ahead.
I stood there shy as Rocky looked at me.
I couldn't say anything but my silence was enough for Rocky's eyes to grow wide.

"You didn't."
Monty looked to him.
"Didn't do what?"
Rocky looked at me.
"Did you?" He asked me.

My face flushed red.
Rocky gawked.
"YOU DID?"
"DID WHAT?" Monty asked with wide eyes.

"Stop yelling!" I cried couching down.
"I-It's embarrassing." I said.
Rocky knelt down looking at me.

"It's natural, Zigzag, but the important question is. Did you ask for it?" He asked me.
I looked up at him with tearful eyes.
Rocky's eyes scanned mine.

"KAISER!" Rocky stood to his feet as my eyes widened.
"W-What are you?" Rocky stormed away from me as I jumped to my feet running after the other.
"R-Rocky wait, it's not what you-"

I froze seeing Rocky in Kaiser's face.
"Did he give you consent?" He demanded.
Kaiser's eyes flickered.
"Consent?" He asked.
Rocky glared.
"Don't act dumb-"

"Hold on, what's going on?" Stetson and Jackie walked over with Dorian, Jayce and Devin.

Rocky was glaring at Kaiser.
"Did he give you-"

"I-I ASKED FOR IT!" I found my voice standing there with my face dark red with embarrassment.
Rocky turned to me with wide eyes.
I stood there trembling.
"I told Kaiser I-I wanted to have sex, he's been so patient with me.. and after e-everything that's happened, especially today.. I really wanted Kaiser more than anything, so please.." I cried standing there.
"D-Don't make him look like the bad guy, it was consensual, I-I even told him to mark me." I said standing there.

"Holy shit." Stetson grinned at Kaiser.
"He's only talked this much one time and that was weeks ago, congrats on being here this time to hear your babe actually defend you." He said.

Kaiser smirked at the other before walking past Rocky who stood there stunned.
He walked right up to me, cupping my cheek.

"Did that exhaust you?" He asked me.
I blushed hard standing there.
"Very much so, b-but I don't want you to be seen as a bad guy.. because, you're a good guy.. a real good one, and you're mine.." I told him.
Kaiser grinned leaning in as his lips gently pressed to mine.
"I'm so proud of you, you've came so far." He told me.

I stood there before Rocky walked over to us.
"My bad, I was impatient and didn't give you a chance to answer me, so I had to use Kaiser to get a reaction from you, I went the wrong way about it." He frowned at me.
I shook my head.
"It's okay.. It just happened earlier, so I was anxious about the whole thing.. I couldn't answer you right away, because I was scared I'd be judged." I said.
Rocky arched a brow.
"Why would any of us judge you?" He asked.
I looked away.
"Because of what happened at school.."

Rocky frowned softly at me.
"Zigzag, you're allowed to feel good even after some disgusting creep tried getting his hands on you, what you and Kaiser did? Is what happens in a relationship, it's natural, healthy even. It's been almost two months since the two of you started dating, like you said, Kaiser has been nothing but patient with you and even you deserve a reward, even if it seemed scary." He told me.

I stood there with a red face before nodding.
Rocky smiled softly.
"That was also a pretty big step in your life, but you do know that you're really stuck with Kaiser, right?" 
I blushed looking in Kaiser's direction who was talking to Stetson.
"I.. I want to be stuck with him, even if I'm the one aging and he's not." I said.

Rocky blinked before smiling softly.
"Hold on to that part of you, a lot of vampires take humans for granted and that's how their lives are taken." He told me.

"Hold on."
We both froze and looked to Monty who stood there, completely shocked with wide eyes.

"What about vampires and humans being taken for granted?" Monty asked.
I completely forgot that today was Monty's first day.
He knew nothing about Autumn Lake or the fact, vampires existed.
And here we were, talking about it like everyone knew about them.

My brows knitted.
"Monty-"
"How long have you known about vampires?" Monty asked me as I stared back at the other.
"Almost two months.."
"And you're dating one of them?" He frowned at me.
I flinched standing there.
"I-I-"

"Back up." Rocky glared.
"You're literally grilling Ziggy about it, but don't seem shaken up over hearing what you just heard." He frowned.
Monty glared back.
"Of course I'm not, my cousin is one." He replied.

I looked at Monty with slight wide eyes.
"Your.. cousin?" I asked.
Monty frowned at me.
"Yeah, he goes to our school." He told me.

"Who is your cousin?" Rocky frowned at Monty who frowned at the other.
"Before I even get into that," he turned to me.
"Are you actually safe? There's no compulsion being used against you?" He asked me.

"The only time any of us compels someone, is when we're using foreplay in the bedroom." Stetson and the others walked over to us now.
"And you have my mate pretty upset, which has me upset. The Chihuahua may have known you a lot longer than us, but I won't tolerate the accusations being thrown."

I looked at Stetson.
"P-Please stop calling me a chihuahua." I told him.
Stetson looked to me.
"I will as soon as you stop acting like one." He shrugged.

Monty frowned at me as I frowned softly.
"No one here is bad, Monty.. they're all good, I've never been compelled to do or say anything against my will, I trust each of them." I told him.
Monty's brows furrowed before he sighed.
"Alright, I believe you."

"Cool, can we move on to the fact you said you had a cousin at our school?" Stetson asked with crossed arms now.

Monty looked at him before rubbing the side of his neck.
"Ah, yeah, his name is Devi Silva." He told us.

"I'm sorry but, what the fuck?" Jackie laughed standing there.
"Please tell me I misheard this guy, you said your cousin was Devin Angelsin right?" He asked looking right at Devin who frowned at the other.

Monty stared.
"I'm guessing he's making everyone's lives hell at that school?" He questioned.
Jackie glared.
"He killed my boyfriend and this kids brother and ripped him away from us, he's done more than made everyone's lives hell at this point."

Monty frowned at him before rubbing the side of his neck.
"Right.. that sounds pretty accurate." He sighed.

"Has he always been like that?" I found myself asking.
Monty looked to me before frowning.
"No actually, Devi was actually human once." He ran a hand through his hair.
I frowned at him.
"Once..? So Monty-"

"Yeah, he killed me when I was fourteen." He looked away as tears burned my eyes.

Monty looked up at the sky.
"He wasn't always a monster, he puts on a front to hide how scared he really is." He said.
"How scared he is? It's a little too late to be scared when he's done nothing but killed people." Stetson growled now.

Monty looked at him.
"I brought up compulsion being used against Ziggy earlier, for a reason, I tested everyone here for a reaction, because that's exactly what Devi is under." He told us.

"Devi's being compelled to act like a complete bastard?" Rocky glared at him.
"Sorry, but I don't buy it." He growled.
I looked at Rocky.
"Can we hear him out? Please Rocky.. I-I did it all wrong before, but if there's a way to help Devi-"

"YOU WANT TO HELP HIM?" Rocky yelled with anger in his eyes.
"HE KILLED DEVIN, HE KILLED JOSHUA AND RIPPED HIM FROM JAYCE! There is no helping Devi, Ziggy, I don't care what his sob story is-"

"He was nine when he was gang raped, killed, turned and compelled to become the worst version of himself." Monty said, his eyes black.

Rocky's glare died down as he stood there with furrowed brows.
Tears burned my eyes standing there.

"That's.. horrible, Rocky I-"

"Shut up." Rocky brought a palm to his head as he gritted his teeth.
"This fucker has done nothing but made the entire school TERRIFIED of him, it's almost like walking on eggshells because one wrong move, and someone's using Devi's name as a fucking threat. How the fuck am I supposed to hate him after hearing an explanation like that?" He glared harshly.

Tears fell as I looked at Rocky, but my eyes fell on Jayce who stood there, tears streaming down his cheeks.
I walked over to him, taking the others hands as Jayce flinched but looked at me.
I looked at him with tears in my eyes.
"What do you think we should do? It's up to you and Devin, both him and your brother are his victims.. you should decide." I told him.

Jayce looked to Devin who frowned at the other.
"He's actually suffering." Devin told Jayce who flinched, his brows knitted.
"I want my brother back more than anything.. and if what Monty is saying is true.. then, breaking the compulsion that Devi is under, would change things.. I don't know if I'll ever see Devi more than who he's been this whole time, but.. I think we should help." He said.

Dorian walked over to Jayce, frowning softly at the other.
"Are you sure that's what you want?"
Jayce looked at him.
"It is.. no one should suffer like that, to be under compulsion this whole time and your body screaming at you? It would be more traumatizing than death itself.." He said.

I turned to Monty.
"How can the compulsion be broken?" I asked him.
Monty looked at me.
"I would be the key to that, only blood can break this kind of compulsion, when we go to school, I would need him held down.. so, if it's not asking for too much, I'll need help for this to work." He said looking at everyone.

Stetson exchanged looks with Dorian, Kaiser and Jackie.
"I guess that'll be us, the bastard will put up a fight either way." He said.

"What will happen once the compulsion is broken?" I asked Monty.
Monty blinked.
"Oh, I guess everyone who was under his own compulsion will also be free, I really don't know how this is going to turn out for anyone." He told us.

"Is that why you returned to Minnesota? To try and save your cousin?" Kaiser asked him.
Monty brought his hand to the side of his neck.
"Yeah, when he killed me two years ago, I was pretty confused."

"You were confused?" Rocky frowned at him.
Monty looked to him.
"I mean, seeing him crying after he did it, was pretty confusing. He has no control of his own body, and killing me was obviously not on his to-do list, especially when we grew up being close." Monty ran a hand through his hair.

"He used to have this laugh that was contagious that you couldn't help but laugh, it's crazy how much a person can change after trauma. I'm not asking anyone here to forgive him, you all have different feelings towards him and I completely get that, I just think.. once the compulsion is broken? He'll do nothing but cry like a child." Monty told us.

"Well, there goes our two day vacation, like hell we can skip school tomorrow after hearing this shit." Jackie whined before groaning after Devin elbowed him.
"It's not shit, it's someones life being tortured and abused mentally over and over, I can't say I'll forgive him tomorrow, but if this really does work? Maybe eventually I'll forgive him, but only time heals wounds, and even though he's been under compulsion, it was still him who did those things to us." He said.

Monty nodded, looking at them.
"I understand, I know he'll work on redeeming himself if you'll give him that chance." He said now.

I looked at the others.
"I think.. we should give him that chance, after all.. everyone here has given each other second or third chances, right?" I looked at Kaiser.
"Maybe it was something little or serious, but you worked on forgiving each other over it.. I don't know how vampire law works, or how forgiveness works either, but as a human? I know I can learn to forgive him, he's a scared teenager being bullied by someone bigger than him.. and, I know all about being bullied, so I can relate to him on that part.. I want to help save Devi, so maybe one day? We can be friends, like real friends." I smiled softly.

Kaiser walked over to me, smiling softly as he embraced me.
"You have such a pure and kind heart Ziggy, how did I get so lucky?" He asked.
I smiled softly looking at him.
"I think it's the other way around." I told him.

"GO BE GAY ELSEWHERE, WE'RE PLOTTING OVER HERE!" Jackie yelled at us.

Being in love was a small step.
Letting Kaiser mark me as his, was a big step.
And saving Devi?

That was going to be a large step.
