**Ziggy.**

It had been a week since everything had finally calmed down.
There was a lot of doubts and anger from most of the students, regarding Devi.
But he was proving each day, he wasn't who that Karim person made him out to be.
He was awkward but he was honestly trying to be a better person.
Not for just everyone around him.
But for Joshua and himself.

"What are you doing in here?" I was in the library again, for the second time at this school.
The first time was finding out that vampires existed, the second was trying to figure my future out.
My eyes were on Kaiser who smiled softly but there was a curiosity in his eyes as he took a seat next to me.
"Lunch is fixing to start." He added.

I nodded looking at a few books I pulled from the shelf.
"I was just trying to figure out what I'm doing after high school." I told Kaiser.
It's been a week since Devi's been trying to redeem himself, and I wanted to also work on myself.
The fear and that stammer I had, I wanted to work on getting rid of both.
I didn't want to remain this way forever.
Especially when I was mated to Kaiser.
I wanted to prove I was worth marking.

Kaiser looked at me.
"You're still a sophomore-"
"And in a few months, I'll be a junior and you'll be a senior." I looked at him.
"You'll graduate before me." I frowned softly.
Kaiser blinked before smiling softly.
"We'll still have a whole year before that happens, why are you worrying about the future right now?" He questioned.
I blushed.
"Because.. I won't know where to go after, my uncle adopted me into his home.., but I know I can't stay there forever." I frowned.

"Then why don't we get a place?" Kaiser suggested.
My eyes widened looking at him.
"Like.. to live together?" I asked.
Kaiser smirked softly.
"What else would we do?" He teased.
I blushed sitting there.
"I guess that's an idea, but what about money? I'm not working yet and-"

"I'll have that covered." Kaiser smiled softly watching me.
"You'll be taken care of, I've told you this a few times, I want to take care of you Ziggy." He told me.
I sat there with my heart racing.
He reached, cupping my cheek before leaning in and his lips were on mine.

"After I graduate, we'll find our house and that will be what we call home." He told me, his lips almost touching mine.
"We'll host parties, maybe even adopt in several years from now, or not even worry about kids-"
"I want kids." I blurted out as Kaiser's eyes widened looking at my burning face.
I looked away but he grinned bringing my lips back to his.
"This is future talk right now, nothing is happening anytime soon, right now you're a sophomore and I'm a junior." He stood up as he brought me to my feet, his eyes gazing into mine.

"Right now? Let's just focus on the present and worry about the grown up stuff later." He told me walking us out of the library.

My heart was racing the whole walk to the cafeteria.
We were going to be living together in a few years.
And years after that, we were going to adopt..
I already knew I was going to give them the best life they deserved.
I wanted them to grow up being loved, like how my parents loved me before they passed.
I don't ever want them wondering about their self worth, or if they have to hide from me.
But like Kaiser said.
We were in the present, and the future was still a while away.
---------
"I was beginning to wonder if you were bailing on lunch." Rocky teased as I walked over to the group, once again, Devi was here.
After his compulsion was broken, the control he had on those faithful followers of his created a whole new group, and it unfortunately involved Zeke and Asher.
Apparently Devi was also kicked out of that group, because no one wanted the version he was trying to be, they liked the version that no one liked because he was powerful and students feared him.

Now?
He was sitting quietly next to Joshua who was eating tomato soup.

"Sorry, I was wrapped up in reading." I said taking a seat next to Monty who grinned at me.
"You're reading? What a nerd." He teased.
I blushed.
"It wasn't comic books like what you read." I replied.

"Oh shots fired!" Rocky laughed.
Monty sat there now, also blushing.

"Truce?" He grinned.
I blinked before smiling softly.
"Truce." I agreed.

"So what were you reading about?" Jayce questioned looking at me.
I looked at the other.
"Oh, I was trying to decide if I was going to college after we graduate, but I couldn't find any interest in any of it." I rubbed the side of my neck.

"College isn't for everyone, I know I'm not going." Devin shrugged taking a bite of his grilled cheese.
Rocky made a face at the other.
"You're not?" He questioned.
Devin shook his head.
"Nah, apparently Jackie wants to travel for a bit, something about needing to find his calling? He's being extra about it, but college isn't on either of our agendas." He said.

Rocky shrugged taking a sip of his soup.
"What about you? What are yours and Stetson's plans?" Devin asked looking at Rocky who choked on his soup.
"Not escaping anytime soon." He whined.

I looked at the other confused.
"What do you-"
"Stetson is taking over his dads restaurant, that Lou's place? Yeah, his dad owns it and he told Stetson that when he graduates that the place will be Stetson's." Rocky sighed annoyed.
I stared.
"But, isn't that good?" I questioned.
Rocky looked at me.
"Of course it's good, it just sucks ass because once I graduate? I get to help run things, because I'm marked to him." Rocky said sipping on his soup.

I blinked but smiled softly.
"Are you staying in Minnesota?" I asked Monty who shook his head.
"No, once I graduate from high school, I do plan on going to college so I can get my business degree, I want to be one of those big CEOs someday and make it big." He grinned.

"That sounds like too much work." Joshua complained taking a bite of his grilled cheese.
Devi looked to his boyfriend but kept his comment to himself, but it didn't stop this quiet chuckle to escape.
Joshua arched a brow at the other.
"What's so funny?"
"Just amused with how lazy you sound." Devi shrugged.
Joshua glared blushing.
"Are you saying you want to travel or go to college?" He asked.
Devi stared.
"Oh, absolutely not, but I do plan on getting a job after I graduate which is also what you're doing." He told him.

Joshua let out a heavy sigh.
"Do I have to though? I can't be a house wife?" He questioned.
Devi arched a brow.
"I think you mean house husband, and no, you get to be lazy in high school but not when we're living together."
"But we're already living together?" Joshua made a face.
Devi smiled at him.
"And you have chores, do you not?"
Joshua was shrinking.
"Yes..?"
Devi stared.
"Then you work." He told the other.

That's right, Joshua ended up moving in with Devi and Jayce lives with Dorian, apparently it was the healthiest thing for the two to do, considering their parents wouldn't even notice they were gone.

We were all smiling at the two, Devi was definitely a lot different compared to a week ago, but this was nice.

"What are yours and Dorian's plans after the two of you graduate?" Joshua looked to Jayce who blinked.
"Oh, I'm going to college to be a male nurse and Dorian is going to law school to be a police officer." He answered.

"Holy shit?" Rocky was grinning at the other.
"Talk about ambition." He said.

Devi looked at Joshua.
"See? Your brother isn't complaining about working after high school." He told the other.
Joshua rolled his eyes.
"Jayce has always been the caring type though, I'm not surprised." He said.

"What about you and Kaiser, what are your plans?" Monty asked me now, smiling softly as I blinked before rubbing the side of my neck.

"Oh, we're going to move in together.. but as for career wise? I'll probably-"

"Come work at Lou's so I don't have to suffer alone!" Rocky told me.
I blinked before smiling softly.
"I guess I'll be working at Lou's after graduation." I shrugged.

"Is Kaiser going to college?" Devin asked me.
I looked at him before frowning.
"I don't think so, he's never mentioned wanting to go, so I'm assuming he'll find work here." I said.
-----------
"I think I'm going to come work at Lou's with you and Rocky." Joshua commented walking the track with me during gym as I looked to him.
"Is that what you want?" I asked.
Joshua rolled his eyes.
"Being a total homebody is what I wanted, but I don't want to disappoint this new version of Devi, and.. he's actually kind of funny, awkward but funny." He smiled softly.

I blinked but smiled softly.
"So you prefer this version-"
"Oh by a long shot!" Joshua looked at me.
"Sure, the sex is more vanilla, but he is nowhere as tempered as he was in the beginning. If anything? This is a total upgrade." He grinned.

I smiled at the other.
"I'm glad things are finally working out for everyone." I said.

"Have you had any more issues with those two?" Joshua questioned looking at me.
I stared before looking ahead.
"Not really.. ever since that issue with Mr.Levine, Zeke has actually backed off me for a bit, he probably found interest in someone else." I said.

"That's actually a good thing, but I don't know anyone in this school that would put up with a jerk like him." Joshua shrugged.
"It felt like he was competing against Devi for a while, but he honestly didn't compare to that version of Devi." He said.

I nodded in agreement.
"Zeke.. he's always been a villain, but meeting that version of Devi who killed people and tore you and Jayce apart? Yeah, Zeke was like a side character when it came to both of their personalities." I said.

"Speaking of." Joshua paused looking towards the school as I looked in that direction.
I frowned seeing both Zeke and Asher looking around for a minute, before slipping into the building.

"Well if that doesn't scream suspicious, I don't know what does." Joshua said walking in that direction now.
My eyes grew wide.
"You're going after them?" I asked.
Joshua looked to me.
"You can't tell me that you're not the least bit curious to see what they're up to? Ever since they started hanging out with Devi's old group, they've acted weird." He told me.

I made a face.
"I haven't paid much attention to either of them, now that we're actually able to breathe now, I can focus on working on myself and being better for Kaiser." I said.
Joshua arched a brow.
"First off, there's nothing to better yourself over, you already know that Kaiser loves you for you. Secondly, no one told you that you needed to work on yourself." He told me.

I frowned.
"I know he loves me and I know no one told me to work on myself, but I want to, it makes me feel good not stammering half the time I talk to you guys." I told him.
Joshua blinked but smiled softly.
"I thought your stammer was adorable, it showed a lot of emotion." He pointed out.
I blinked before blushing.
"It did?" I asked walking towards the door with the other twin.

Joshua nodded.
"Yeah, I think that was one of the many things Kaiser liked, was you stammering like a shy boy talking to his crush daily, but as long as you're changing for yourself? No one else's opinion matters." Joshua told me.

I nodded as we walked into the building.
"What if they were just walking into the school through the back?" I questioned.
Joshua arched a brow at me.
"First off, who even does that?" He asked me.

I blinked.
"Well, Kaiser and the others did to save Devi-"
"That's different, they had a reason to do that, these two? There's no reason for them to come into the school through the back." He said.
I stared but nodded as we walked into the locker room.

"Joshua, there's no one in here, let's go back to the track. I didn't even tell Kaiser I was walking-"

"Why are you two sneaking around?"
I never thought I'd hear a teenage boy scream in fear, but I did.
And Joshua's face was beet red glaring at both Kaiser and Stetson who stood behind us, their arms crossed with arched brows on both of their faces.

"Why are you two following us without saying anything?" Joshua hissed at the two.
Stetson blinked.
"Well, when you decided to abandon track, we wanted to see what was so important." He said.

Kaiser looked at me.
"Why are you sneaking around in the locker room?" He questioned.
I blushed.
"Joshua said that Zeke and Asher were acting suspicious and came in here." I said.

"Oh they're totally fucking." Stetson joked as Kaiser frowned at the other.
"What? It's a joke, but me and Rocky do pull the same stunt so no one suspects anything." He added.

Joshua stared.
"Well now the three of us know what you're doing during study hall." He sighed.

We walked around the corner but I let out a startled gasp at how fast Kaiser covered my eyes and pulled me against him, his free hand over my mouth as my brows knitted.
I couldn't see anything.
But I definitely could hear something.
It made my face burn standing there.

I placed my hand on top of Kaisers that was on my mouth, pulling it down, I managed to pull away.
"What is it?" I asked before gawking.

They didn't see us.
And I was so glad the stall door was actually shut.
Because this could have ended badly.

I could hear Zeke moaning Asher's name.

"Holy shit." Joshua whispered sharply at Stetson.
"I thought you said you were joking." He hissed.
Stetson's eyes were wide.

"I was joking!" He glared.
"I didn't know they were actually a thing, oh shit." He laughed running out of the room.

I stumbled back, letting out a startled gasp when the broom fell over making a loud sound, which made the room grow sickeningly quiet.

Kaiser literally lifted me off my feet, and we were running out of the room.

Holy crap.

This was totally unexpected.
